The Ungods and God: What are they?

    First of all, God and the Council are not aliens.

    There is a thing called the Impossible Void. It is a space that is both separate from and within the universe, defying the rules of gravity, entity and general existence. Creatures of power, like the Ungods and God itself are things that spawned in there.

    The Ungods(*1) are compact time. Their numbers are infinite and ever growing, because the mere existence of time is so endless that it has taken form.

    This is only capable, of course, in the Impossible Void. Ungods are just periods of time that have taken up a form and a personality. Their power varies and they can be killed by anything more powerful.

    Aspectum, Leader of the Council, and Poena, The Ungodly Punisher, are not the most powerful Ungods. They are just some of the ones brave enough to approach God and the only ones to live that encounter. Most Ungods are terrified of God, because It kills with no remorse and no effort.

    God's species was known as Seers(*2) and they were somewhat of a pantheon of gods. They ruled over the universe in an extremist way, where Seers were at the top of the food chain, praying on everything below them as long as they were a different race. This meant only the Ungods, as a universe outside the Impossible Void didn't exist yet.

    There were 638,793,470,112,105 Seers in total before God was created. Since Seers were neither born nor able to die, God looked at Its expanding race and felt threatened. So, at about three earthly years of age and far less than that to a Seer, It slaughtered Its race one by one over night, eating the power that left the bodies(*2). It is now considered one of God's abilities to sense true magic potential, since there is nothing else in existence that can.

    Seers were also the only race that were able to amplify their strength through harnessing 'power', sometimes called 'souls' or 'spirit' by earthly folk.

    The Impossible Void was freed but immediately trapped because now God decided to take what was rightfully It's.

    After an eon of torturing the Void, God grew bored. It created the rest of the universe - galaxies, star systems, plants and extra-terrestrial life: all delicate and fragile compared to the weakest Ungod and all meant to carry a singular purpose.

    God enjoyed this new challenge and found the rowdiest of species(*4) the most fun, as they always tried to fight the purpose It had given them.

    The Council Members are not aliens, and neither is God. They're all just beings or entities, fathomed in manners too outrageous and impossible to understand.

    If there is any question of another God that created the Void or started the Seer race, it is a question that should never be asked. Besides, even if that 'god' existed, it's pointless to pray to it now. Even the most powerful of Ungods stood no chance against the worst Seer - no existence in the world can challenge God now.
