The Price To Pay
While Chief Priest Magna is God's favorite mortal, and does play into them being reincarnated, there is still a price to pay.
Magna is not allowed to marry. Sure, she can take on lovers, but she is not allowed to marry. God believes that this would distract them from their Chief Priest duties.
If she were to have a lover, she would have to murder them before being reincarnated. If Magna fails to do so, God will deliver a far worse punishment. If Magna does not get into a relationship, no murder is required. She has never tried to see what happens if she doesn't murder her lover, and doesn't not know what happens. It is for God to know, and for Magna to never find out.
If Magna were to fall pregnant, it is Ungodly Punisher Poena's job to take care of that. Poena would either kill the child after it is born, or use magic to make it a stillborn.
This fuels both Magna and Aspectum's rage for Poena, and strengthens their bond, especially after Dresus.
It is unknown how many lovers or children Magna has had in the past. The history gets especially tricky due to the reincarnations. However, it appears that after a certain amount of time, Magna stopped taking on lovers, giving her a reputation of being "loveless."*
*Modern slang would refer to this as Bitchless.
