The War

/The War takes place immediately after the events of The Argument./

After being suspended to the mortal realm after an indefinite amount of time with no allies, The Ungodly Punisher went to stay at the Culigion's church.

Something important to add, is that The Punisher and Chief Priest Magna do not get along. At all. Sure, they would probably help each other if it had to do with God, but other than that, they try to ignore each other as much as possible.

    So, it was inevitable a problem would arise with Lorelai on Priest Magna's territory for the first time.

    Both sporting mild injuries, Chief Priest Magna kicked the Punisher out, leaving Lorelai now with absolutely no support from the Church.

    Lorelai decided to leave to the nearby kingdom, where she decided to stay as advisor to the King until God eventually gets bored of not having its main companion. However, something happened that no one predicted would.

    Lorelai, The Ungodly Punisher, found a mortal companion. From another kingdom, Lorelai fell in love with Princess Eden. They fell in love, but there was one problem. Eden was of another religion, and refused to give it up to be with Lorelai. This put a rift in their relationship, and Eden had an affair with her betrothed one. In a way Lorelai was the affair partner, actually. So, in a fit of rage, The Ungodly Punisher murdered Eden.

     Of course, this enraged Princess Eden's betrothed, and demanded Lorelai to be executed. Lorelai, having been turned mortal when suspended, prayed to God to save her. However, God was upset that Lorelai had found a new companion and was happy, even for as short a time that was, during her punishment. So, God decided to extend it. It convinced the king that Lorelai had been working for the start a war against Eden's fiancé.

    God made a deal with Lorelai. It didn't matter which side The Ungodly Punisher fought for, as long as her side won. If her side won, The Ungodly Punisher would be allowed back. However, if her side lost, she would have to stay.

    And so that's how it went for the next 150 years. Lorelai would repeatedly switch sides. The Church refused to help any side, except for the first couple years, in which Chief Priest Magna only made the Church support the opposite side of Lorelai's as a joke. God and the Council also refused to help the Ungodly Punisher. The council because Leader Aspectum still held a grudge after the Argument, and God so that Lorelai would learn her lesson.

    After 150 years, the war was over, Lorelai won, and finally was able to return. And somehow, Leader Toffe and Punisher Lorelai were able to make up, and now get along! No one knows how that happened. And no one talks about what happened in the Church.
