Mia opened her eyes and sat up rubbing her eyes. Pushing back the covers she got out of the bed and headed into the hallway. "Daddy?" She asked as she continued to rub her eyes as she entered another room. "Daddy?"

"Hey Mia, Owen isn't here," Marc said as he watched the woman look around while yawning. "He is at work but he said he left you a note on the nightstand for you to read when you wake up. Would you like some coffee?"

"Uhmmm...please?" She whispered as she gripped the sides of Owen's tee shirt.

"You got it, Owen sent me a text of how you like your coffee since I make everyone's for them. You can go get dressed while I make it for you," he smirked as she shifted her weight from one side to the other nervously. "I can make you some breakfast as well, if you want."

"Thank you, Sir," she mumbled and he nodded. She took off out of the room and the rest of the men chuckled as they drank their coffee.

"So fucking cute," Gabe smirked as he put his coffee mug down on the table.

"Like I told Owen last night, you should have seen her at the hospital," Sean smiled proudly. "It was simply amazing! Her confidence was breathtaking, it was like she was a completely different person. She was so confident and determined. It was fascinating watching her work."

"I bet it was," Axel smiled as he picked up his plate and stood. "Hopefully we will see that side of her one day outside of the hospital. Just remember, we can't push her."

"Yeah yeah," They mumbled in agreement.

"Hey Mia," Marc smiled noticing as she walked into the dining room. "Here's your breakfast. Did you see Owen's note he left you?"

"Yes Sir," she muttered as she sat in the chair that Victor pulled out for her. "Thank you."

"You are welcome," Victor smiled as he pushed her up to the table and Marc placed her plate in front of her with her coffee. "Enjoy."

"Thank you," She whispered as she picked up her fork.

"What did Owen leave you?" Luke asked mischievously.

"Leave her alone, Lucian," North growled. "That is private information between her and him, drop it."

"But I wanna know," he pouted. "He never leaves us good morning notes."

"It doesn't matter if you want to know or not, drop it now," North glared at him. "It doesn't involve you so stay out of it."

"Fine," Luke pouted then stood, "I have to head to the bakery, see everyone tonight, hopefully you too," he smiled as he passed Mia.

Mia's phone pinged and Corey passed it to her. "Thank you," She whispered as she took the phone. She took a picture of her almost empty plate and sent a text before setting her phone down. "May I get a ride back to my house, please?"

"Of course," Axel nodded, "I can take you, I need to head to the aquarium anyway."

Once Mia entered her house she sighed in relief of being back in her comfort zone. She took a hot shower and got dressed before heading to the hospital. She threw herself into working and just as she was getting a free moment she felt her phone start to buzz.

Pulling it out of her pocket, she smiled when she saw the text message.

How is work going? Text me when you have a moment. Stuck in boring meeting. Hope you sleep well.

Not as busy as it usually is, just got a free moment, was about to grab something quick out of the vending machine and another water bottle. Number three so far. Hope your meeting ends soon. Got great sleep since I was with you.

There was no response so she shrugged, figuring he was dealing with work stuff so she jumped when she felt the phone buzz just as she was about to slide it back into her pockets. One of my brothers is on his way with some lunch for you. You know vending machines do not have healthy options for you. Proud of you for doing so well with your water. Can't wait to see you after work, don't forget to text me.

Thank you, she smiled softly and I can never forget to text you.

There was a knock on the break room door and she looked up to see one of the interns looking around then smiled when he spotted her. "Dr. Gillyard, there is some man outside wanting to talk to you that I've never seen before."

"Thanks, Brian," she said standing and sliding her phone into her jacket pocket. She followed him out into the halls and spotted one of the twins and the Russian standing at the receptionist desk. "Mr. Henshaw, Mr. Ravenstahl, what can I do for you?"

"Here," Raven said holding at a bag for her to take.

"Owen asked us to bring you some food since we were already heading to Dr. Green's hospital to bring him some lunch," she now recognized it was Corey that was talking and not Brandon.

"Thank you," she smiled softly. "I appreciate it, I hope it wasn't out of the way for you two."

"Nyet," Raven shook his head while glaring at the intern that was standing a little to close to Mia for his liking. "Nyet problem. What time you off work?"

"Maybe eleven?" She said not so sure, "It will just depend on if we get busy or not."

"Can we bring you—"

"Code Blue Doctor!" One of the nurses shouted as an alarm went off on the desk.

"Sorry," She whispered shoving the bag back to Raven before racing down the hall.

"It's like Doc all over again," Corey sighed as he shook his head. "What are we supposed to do now?"

Raven shrugged, "Call Blackbourne."
