"We'd like to thank all of you for coming to this tonight. It means so much knowing that we'll be able to celebrate the joy we feel with all of our loved ones." NingNing grinned as she rubbed her hand across her bump.

Today is the day that you and NingNing have been waiting for.

You're finally going to see whether you're having a little girl or a little boy and seeing that both of your families, all of your friends, and the girls have come to witness such a special thing brings you both so much happiness as this is, obviously, a very exciting time in your lives.

"So, we had the girls plan this out. They made cupcakes!" You said as NingNing excitedly reached for one from Giselle. "And there's pink or blue frosting inside, so that's how we'll find out."

Your heart was pounding with excitement as NingNing peeled the paper off the side and bottom of the cupcake.

"I'm so excited!" She told you as you both prepared to eat one of the cupcakes the girls made. "No matter what happens, we'll love them and we'll be happy."

"Absolutely." You smiled.

To you and NingNing, it doesn't matter whether you're expecting a little girl or a little boy together.

Truthfully, in the future, if they feel differently about themselves or their gender, you'll continue to love them and feel just as much joy then as you do now.

But it's something special and because you've both got plans to decorate one of the huge spare rooms in your shared home for the baby, it's important to you both that you get to spoil them and decorate it the way you hope they'll like it.

So, with all of that having been discussed between you already, and the excitement and anticipation building up to the point where neither of you could wait another moment - Winter reached out to hand you a cupcake and as your eyes locked with your beautiful wife's eyes, you both took a bite of the cupcakes in your hands.

And when you saw the color of the frosting inside - your heart swelled with love and happiness like you've never felt before and tears filled yours' and NingNing's eyes.

"Pink." You said in unison and after she sniffled as you pulled her into your arms, she held the cupcake up for everyone to see.

"It's pink!" She screamed excitedly.

Everyone started to cheer as you put your cupcake on the table, too overwhelmed with emotions to do anything but hold onto your girl.

"I can't believe it!" You said.

"We're having a girl," She sniffled. "I'm so happy! A baby girl."

You both felt so much love for each other and for the baby that you were expecting that was currently safe and growing inside of your wife, who looks so beautiful and has this raidant glow that makes you question how on earth you ever got so lucky.

You've been dreaming about this moment for so long, both of you, and it's felt so surreal up until now, almost too good to be true.

But every day is a day closer to your little girl coming into the world and it all feels real now.

It was happening.

"We're going to spoil her rotten and love her forever and ever." You said as you placed your hand on NingNing's stomach. "She's going to have the best moms in the world who are always going to love and accept her just the way she is, no matter what the future holds."

"That's all that matters," NingNing said as she grinned from ear to ear.

"Okay, lovebirds, we want some hugs, too!" Karina joked.

You and NingNing laughed through the happy tears in your eyes before you pulled away from each other and began to give hugs to everyone that was there, starting with the girls.

"You're going to be the most amazing moms ever." Giselle smiled.

"Yeah and we're going to be the best aunts ever!" Winter promised.

"We're going to spoil this little girl every chance that we get," Karina said. "We're so happy for you both."

"Thank you!" NingNing grinned as she hugged the girls carefully but securely before you did the same.

It won't be long until your little girl arrives.

You can only hope that she'll be just like NingNing.
