Maeve walked out of the dressing room for what felt like the 30th time.
"This one?" She asked.
"You look great!" Chris said with a smile.
"Not your color. Go for a nice nude." Maddy said.
"Ugh! Why cant you be more like Chris and just say i look nice and smile?" Maeve asked, looking at herself in the mirror.
"I'll go get the next dress." Maddy stood up, walking away.
Chris got up and walked over to Maeve.
"You really do look great in everything." He spoke.
"Thank you, Chrissy." Maeve smiled up at him.
He giggled as she ruffled his hair.
"Are you excited? cause we're shopping for you next." Maeve said, turning towards the mirror again.
"That's gonna be a nightmare." Chris rolled his eyes.
"But think about us. Together. On the dance floor, swaying and singing. It's gonna be fun!" Maeve said, wrapping her arms around Chris's neck.
"I'm excited and i'm happy your excited." Chris smiled at her, placing a kiss on the top of her head. It's been about a week but the "couple" have yet to make things official. Right now, they were shopping for dresses and a tux for the wedding that was in a week.

"Here!" Maddy ran back. She held a silky nude colored dress with an open back.
"Ok. I'll be right back." Maeve smiled at Chris, walking back into the dressing room.
"When are you gonna make it official with her?" Maddy asked.
"When are you gonna mind your own business?" Chris shot back.
"soon." He added.
"When's soon?" Maddy asked.
"When i do it!" Chris said.
"What are you scared of? You guys are literally together just not official." Maddy said.
"I don't know but i'll do it soon. Actually." Chris said.
"Mhm." Maddy rolled her eyes.
"What's your plans after this?" He asked.
"You can't tell Maeve." Maddy said.
"Oh God. What are you up to?" Chris sighed.
"I'm going out to lunch with my dad." Maddy said.
"Oh. That's not bad." Chris shrugged.
"He said he has something important to ask me." Maddy added.
"Are you nervous?" Chris asked.
"A little. I'm not close with him. He was never in my life." Maddy said.
"Yeah. You'll be fine. I won't tell Maeve." Chris smiled.
"Thanks Chris." Maddy smiled back.

"What about this one?" Maeve came out.
"Whoa." Chris's jaw dropped.
"That's the one." Maddy clapped, walking over to Maeve.
"Really?" Maeve asked.
"Yes really!" Maddy nodded.
"Chris?" Maeve looked over at him. He was still wide eyed.
"Y-you look amazing. Like actually breath taking." Chris complimented.
Maeve smiled at the boy who stood up and walked towards the girls.
"Your too sweet." Maeve smiled.
"Your too beautiful." Chris said.
"Ok. Let's buy and go cause we have to now do Chrissy boy." Maddy said.

The three walked around the store. Chris had already tried on 4. 2 Maddy picked out and 2 Maeve picked out.
"Here! You would look handsome in this!" Maeve grabbed the suit, pressing it against Chris.
"See! And it goes with the dress!"
"This is gonna be easier than i thought." Chris took the suit out of her hand, walking towards the dressing rooms.
He came out after a few minutes.
"What do you think?" Chris did a spin.
"You look mighty fine, sir." Maeve smiled at him.
"Honestly that's good. It goes well with Maeve's dress." Maddy nodded.
"So this is the one?" Chris asked.
"Yeah, but does it fit ok?" Maeve asked.
"Yeah. Fits like a glove." Chris smiled.
"Ok then yeah! We have your suit!" Maeve nodded.
The three high fived.

Maeve and Chris were in her room.
Chris was sat on her bed as she did her makeup.
"Why are you getting ready again?" Chris asked.
"Because we both have to go on a date." Maeve said.
"A date?" Chris smirked.
"Double date. With Hanna and her new boyfriend." Maeve rolled her eyes.
"What?" Chris asked.
"I just know their not gonna last. Hanna's relationships never do. That's all." Maeve shrugged.
Maeve turned back to her vanity, applying a lip gloss.
"Do you think we're gonna last?" Chris asked.
"I mean, why wouldn't we?" Maeve shrugged.
"I just don't wanna loose you so easily, Maeve." Chris said.
"Your not. We're not even official yet. So until then, we really don't have anything to worry about. let's just take one step at a time." Maeve smiled, turning back around to her vanity.
"Maeve?"
"Hm?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
Maeve turned to look at him, he was sat up, looking at her with hopeful eyes.
"Of course i will, Chrissy." Maeve smiled.
Chris got up, picking Maeve up and kissing her.
She giggled loudly.
"Stop! You need to get dressed. This is a fancy dinner." Maeve said as he put her down on the ground.
"Ok. Alright." Chris nodded.

The new couple walked in the restaurant, hand in hand.
"There they are!" Maeve pointed at Hanna and the boy. They looked like they were fighting.
"Hey Han!" Maeve greeted.
"Hi Hanna." Chris smiled.
"Hi guys. Thanks for coming." Hanna gave the two a hug.
"This is Evan. Evan, this is Maeve and Chris." Hanna introduced.
"Nice to meet you." Evan totally ignored Chris, shaking Maeve's and placing a kiss on the back of her hand.
"You too." Maeve said, looking at Chris who already looked pissed off.
"Let's sit down. These heels are killing me." Hanna sat down, taking them off.
"Jeez, Hanna. Why cant you be more like your friend? So gross." Evan shook his head.
Hanna looked at the ground and put her shoes back on.
"If she's not comfortable with it, she shouldn't have to wear it." Chris spoke.
"What?" Evan looked at him.
"You heard me." Chris said.
Evan stood up all big and Strong and when Chris was about to stand, Maeve grabbed his arm and pulled him back in his seat.
"Please don't." She mumbled.
Chris sighed, placing a hand on Maeve's back to assure her, he wouldn't do anything.

The dinner went on and Evan kept rubbing Maeve's leg under the table and looking at her.
Maeve took out her phone and texted Chris that she was uncomfortable and what he was doing.
"Maeve, i think you left your sweater in the car." Chris spoke.
"I'll go with her to get it." Evan said.
"No. I think that it's my job as her boyfriend to go with her." Chris said.
The two stood up and made their way out of the restaurant and towards Maeve's car.
"He keeps fucking touching me!" Maeve groaned, her hands placed on her face. She was trying not to cry thinking about how uncomfortable she was and is.
"It's ok, Maeve. Don't get upset." Chris put one arm around her gently and the other hand, he grabbed one of her hands and removed it from her face softly. She removed her other hand.
"It's ok. We don't have to stay. We can say you got sick." Chris suggested.
"No. I promised Hanna we would come." Maeve said. She had tears in her eyes.
"Maeve, stop crying. Your fine. No one's gonna hurt you." Chris grabbed her head, forcing her to look at him.
"It's just- It's reminding me of him and how he use to touch me and-" She said.
"No one's ever gonna touch you in any way that you don't wanna be touched." Chris shook his hand.
"Your fine. We're gonna go back in there and if he does it again, i'll say something." Chris rested his forehead on Maeve's as she wiped her tears and calmed down.
"Your the best, Christopher." She kissed him and gave him a hug.
He held her tight, not wanting to let go but they needed to.

They all sat awkwardly.
"Did you find your sweater, Maeve?" Hanna asked.
"No. It turned out not to be in there. Guess i left it at home." Maeve lied.
"You can wear my hoodie." Evan offered.
"No. I'm good. Chris will give me his if i get cold. Thank you." Maeve shook her head, smiling at Chris as he grabbed her hand.
"So you two are official?" Hanna smiled.
"Yeah. We just made it." Chris nodded.
"That's great! Everyone is gonna be so excited!" Hanna squealed.
Maeve had a huge smile. She was glad that Hanna was the first to know out of their group.
"Can you be quiet?" Evan asked her.
"She can be as loud as she wants. thank you, Evan." Maeve shot back.
"It's fine, Maeve. I shouldn't of squealed like that." Hanna shook her head.
"No! your allowed to do what you want. Your excited." Maeve said.
"Jeez! Stop touching me, Evan!" Maeve shouted.
"I'm not." Evan said.
"Are you saying that she's a liar?" Chris asked, standing up.
"Chris-"
"Yeah. And a whore. I've been rubbing her leg this whole dinner and she hasn't once told me to stop." Evan smirked.
Before anyone knew it, Chris had punched Evan across the face.
"Chris!" Maeve shouted.
The two boys started to fight in the middle of dinner.
"Chris stop!" She shouted again.
Hanna was telling to.
Soon, the two were broken up by near by people.
"We're leaving. I'm so sorry you have to deal with a total dickhead as a boyfriend." Maeve took Chris's arm, leading them out of the restaurant.

"Is it bad?" Chris asked.
Right now, Maeve kneeled in front of Chris as he sat on his bed.
"No. Just a black eye but nothing major. Evan looked way worse." Maeve said as she placed ice gently on his eye.
Chris smirked.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, Christopher. I'm still really mad that you hit him." Maeve said.
"Maeve, he was touching you and then insulted you. I wasn't gonna just sit and let him say that stuff." Chris said.
"That doesn't mean you turn to violence." Maeve shook her head.
"Well, sometimes you need to hurt another to protect someone you love." Chris said.
Maeve went silent, a small smile formed.
"You love me?" She asked.
"Of course i love you." Chris smiled.
Maeve smiled bright, kissing him on the lips then on his bruise.
"I love you too." She spoke.
The couple, cuddled into his bed and turned on a movie. They fell asleep like that.
