"I wished the headmaster didn't chose me to show two newcomers around!" Mirage complained softly as she carefully observed her surroundings, looking for enemies to poke their heads out of their hiding places.
Her partner, who was also keeping watch, teased,"No kidding! You were good at playing hide-and-seek with them, plus you had to barge in every room in the girls' dorm!"
"Can you not?" Mirage sounded infuriated as she tried not to think about it."We are trying to concentrate here Katlyn! Your cat ears are sensitive enough to detect our last opponent!"
"Hey, don't be such a pessimist Mirage!" Katlyn, the girl with a tomboy-like attire, cat ears and slightly spectacles retorted. She was about to continue speaking when her cat ears suddenly darted to her right. "Mirage! Opponent's on the right!"
With speed as fast as lightning, Mirage turned to her right and saw the opponent jump up onto Mirage and Katlyn's hideout, the treetop, and shot an arrow towards Mirage. However, before the arrow could reach her clothing, Katlyn came to her reacue and hit the arrow with her dagger, making the arrow fall the other way.
Before the opponent could react, Mirage used her bow and arrow and shot the opponent in the stomach, making him fall to the ground with a heavy landing.
Mirage and Katlyn then climbed down the tree when someone shouted,"Mirage and Katlyn wins this round again!"
"Thanks Ms. Artemis, these target guards can be quite useful too, especially when it comes to shooting an arrow at my last opponent," Mirage said, taking out her target guard. Katlyn did the same too.
The opponent, who was a girl about the same height as Mirage and wore monochrome-like clothes, also took out her target guard that had Mirage's arrow stuck to it and winced,"Why is Mirage such a good archer?"
"Because she tried, duh," Katlyn playfully answered, making the girl lose her temper but adjusted her furry headphones to calm down.
"Hey, don't worry about it Liana Ayers," Mirage consoled, placing her hand on Liana's shoulder.
"Don't just tell me that, tell it to everyone!" Liana scoffed.
All the students in the class awed at Mirage as they returned their jacket to their coach, Ms. Artemis. The cyan-and-brown-eyes girl could just fire an arrow and they would immediately get shot!
"Hey people, don't look at us like that. You guys all know that Mirage's parents are legendary archers!" Katlyn tried assuring the students.
"True, but Mirage won't let us win!" Liana teased, making Katlyn shrug her shoulders.
"Aw, come on now," Ms. Artemis interrupted their conversation. "We still have some training to do."

RING!
"Alright kids, time to go for your next lesson, chop chop!" Mr. Strongwill clapped his hands twice as the students in the class went towards the exit, some of them complaining as they wanted to stay."It's a pity, this class is really fun," Seclinette walked to Mr. Strongwill,"but I can't wait to look forward to see you again!"
"Yea, I think we got to go to another class," Persperphone said, pulling Seclinette's hand and walking towards the door.
Once they had gotten out of the house they saw the haughty girl, none other than Mirage, who has just came out from her class too.
"I see you girls are done with class," Mirage answered, only looking at Seclinette,"It's time to go for our subject classes. Follow me."
"You mean those Math and Science classes?" Persperphone asked.
"What else do you think?" Mirage answered, her words full of sarcasm.
"Darn you..." Persperphone pouted and puffed her cheeks.
"So which subject class are we going to?" Seclinette asked Mirage.
"You'll see," Mirage replied.

"I forgot to tell you, other than those Combat classes, there are also subject classes one floor above," Mirage said as the three girls went up the stairs. "Since the headmaster had prepared the same schedule as mine, you have to follow me whenever there is class."
"Yes, ma'am," Persperphone mumbled as she followed along."I wished that she wasn't such a pessimist!"
"It's okay, Pers," Seclinette assured,"I think she's just tired-"
"Here we are," Mirage said as she slid open a mahogany door with a frosted glass pane."You girls wait outside first."
Mirage entered the classroom as Seclinette and Persperphone waited for a while. Before long, a feminine voice trilled,"Come in, newcomers!"
Seclinette and Persperphone got the cue amd entered the classroom, a little nervous as they saw many eyes staring at them.
"Now now, don't be nervous," the teacher sashayed towards the girls, but as soon as they saw the teacher, they got quite a shock! The teacher doesn't look like a teacher at all!
Wearing a scarlet salsa dress with feathered frills on its neckline and long sleeve ends, the teacher looked as though she was going for a dance, along with a hibiscus clipped to her hairbun.
"Introduce yourself, beret girl!" The teacher patted Seclinette's back, almost making her lose balance.
"Hey, um... I'm Seclinette and I just er... got enrolled here um..."
"C'mon, don't be shy! Be a brave child!" The teacher's rich accent resounded in the classroom, full of confidence.
After Seclinette and Persperphone finally managed to finish introducing themselves, the teacher beckoned them to sit at the back where two of the tables side by side had a pencil holder full of necessary stationery and a centimetre-thick notebook, and the chairs were empty.
As they walked past the aisle, a female student with cat ears suddenly spoke to Seclinette," Mrs. Anahella is a nice teacher. You must be confused by her looks right?"
"Katlyn!" Mirage, who is just opposite of Katlyn and beside Persperphone, hissed.
Katlyn shrugged her shoulders, and with that Seclinette and Persperphone walked to their seats and sat down, ready to listen to their dance-influenced teacher.
"Right now, we are going to learn a new topic for history, and I believe it will shock you all, wahaha~!" Mrs. Anahella chuckled loudly as she raised one of her arms across her face and did a devil sign as she laughed, making the class dumbfounded.
"Don't look at me like that! I already knew that this was going to happen! We are going to learn about the royalties, the kings and queens, and the main ruler... of the Dragon Kingdom! Wahahahaha!"
"What?!" Everyone in the class shouted in a unison, unexpecting this to happen.
"I thought we were supposed to learn about the ruler of the Phoenix Kingdom!" Mirage crossed her arms in disbelief.
"Class please, I know this is shocking, but please listen!" Mrs. Anahella calmed the students down before she continued," Although it may seem unfair to you that you should first learn about the rulers of the Dragon Kingdom instead of the Phoenix Kingdom, but little do you know that how the Phoenix Kingdom first had a ruler?"
"No," the students immediately trailed off.
"Flip open your notebooks, we are going to start writing." Mrs. Anahella said and flipped open a large purple book on the teacher's desk.
