Alexa's POV

I was all fit and back to normal ready to go back to work. My first day went so badly so I'm hoping things might be different.

I did my morning routine like every other days and put on a simple knee lengt sky blue dress with flat sandals. I look cute in that dress with my bump.

I curled my hair and pass the comb through it so it looks loose. Just a little makeup and I'm  done.

After a drive I arrived at my office and settled things down. A brown folder was on my desk indicating that I've got a new task to do.

The day continued. I joined Bianca and Jessie for lunch. Thomas once showed up in my office checking if everything was fine.

I met Kelly twice along  the hallway but I didn't want to meet my eyes with her's.

Like she has been avoiding me for the past few montjs I'm avoiding her now. She was supposed to be my best friend and should be there for me no matter what happens.

I remembered those worst days I had where I called her badly because all I could do was sleep and I needed her, but those excuses she gave wasn't worth it.

Since Kelly decided to leave earlier Thomas invided me to have lunch in his office. I gladly accepted since I don't have to go all the way down there to have lunch.

Thomas got me some roasted chicken and plain rice. We settled on the couch he had in his office. I founded the couch a bit low so I had to wake up from the couch several times.

I enjoyed my lunch as well as Thomas. There was a weird moment where we stared into each other's eyes.

I badly wanted to kiss him. It's not like we hasn't kissed. These pregnancy hormones sometimes drive me crazy.

He stood up and grab his empty boxes to through them away as well as mine.

Just like the last time I stood up in a bad position as I hearch myself shouting "ouch". Thomas hurried as he grabs me.

"I'm fine." I noded. "It's just something no that bad."

He wraps his arm around me from behind. I felt electricity shot through my body. Then he rubs small circles on my belly. I rest my head on his shoulder as he continued. This felf so was and relieved.

He was interrupted when a man barges into the room.

"What the hell man?" He questions. "Don't tell me you're cheating on Kelly with this pregnant chick."

"Nate what is wrong with you." Thomas asked at Nate.

"I should go." I said before Nate says another meaningless words.

"It's okay Alexa just stay plus you have some more time for yourself. Nate just came to annoy me for a minute." Thomas said before I could grab my phone.

The two chit chat about stuff they might wanna do this weekend. I scroll through my phone not wantingto hear them.

For a minute I felt numb. The phone slide throught my hand and ended up on the floor getting both Thomas's and Nate's attention.

I screamed as I grabbed my belly.

"Alexa." Thomas came hurriedly as he sat next to me pulling my body next to his. "Nate you should go I'll deal with Alexa."

He puts his hands on my hands holdingmy belly and trying to calm me down.

Tears streamed down my eyes as I closed my eyes letting Thomas comfort into my mind.

It stayed the same for two more minutes and started wearing off slowly.

"How many times this happened when you were home alone." He asked.

"Maybe five." I said.

"Why didn't you let me know?"

"Because you wasn't around."

"But I could just came."

"Thomas its not likr you live next door to me or at my place and calling you would not be any sense. By the time you get to my house I  would have been fine and I need you when everything hurts. "  I blurted out.

Great now these hormones has driven me crazy and I'm crying.

"You should have thought of me twice before doing anything to me." I said between tears.

I stood up from his warmth body as I just argued with him. Now I had to get my phone from the floor which was still laying there.

I bent over to get it but it was all useless. Thomas took it and handed me as I hurried from the room bumping into Nate.

"Watch where you going lady." He said.

Ignoring that I went to settle on my desk. No more pain, no more Thomas and no more Nate as I continued my work on one go until it was time to go home.

I grabbed my belongings and showed them into my bag. Then hurried to the elevator as Nate joined in.

"Hello preety." He said. "I wasn't able to introduce myself, I'm Nate Parker."

I gave him a smile and introduced myself.

He pressed the stop botton as the elevator stopped.

"What was all that fake scenario over there?" He said pressing me towards the wall.

"Now it's my revenge time." He said smashing his lips on mine. He then kissed my neck hungrily.

I screamed but the sound echoed in the elevator.

He then started touching me and pressed me even harder.

"Please stop. I'm pregnant and this is a lot of pain."

Before he did anything more the elevator starts moving but his body was still pressed on mine. It stopped as and angry Thomas barged on knocking Nate down.

Thomas grabbed my weak body on the floor and hurriend me to his car as he drives me home.

I layed on the passenger's seat as blood dripped from my lower lip. Thomas handed me a towel as his eyes was on the road.

All I knew was that I was scared of men. They all take advantages of my weakness.
