Lost In Emotions

Alexa's POV

Today is my first day of work after I founded out that my parents will be staying in Tokyo for about two
years because there are on and of situations with the company.

As I'm a graduated nineteen-year-old teenage girl I'm available to work. My parents send me money but I need twice the amount I used to use.

Three months ago I found out I'm carrying a person inside of me. Thanks to Thomas I now have to deal
with all of this all by myself.

Morning sickness is the worst feeling of all the feelings I had and uncontrolled hunger out of nowhere.

I tried to dress casual for work as I put on a puffy hand pink blouse with tight black skirt. I put on a flat
because having to walk in a high heel when my belly which is size of a watermelon doesn't help me at all.

I put my hair into a neat medium bun and applied a little makeup. I got my bag ready with some snacks I
like to eat these days.
I don't want risking my life with the pregnancy so I decided to go to work on my first day early.

It took me twenty minutes for the drive as it was the rush hour.I parked the car closer to the opening so when im done with work I don't have to walk all the to the endof the parking lot though get to my transport.

My position at this place is the secretary of the CEO. I hope he isn't a rude person or make my mood change every five minutes. I haven't met him yet which makes me feel nervous thinking if we might get along with each other.

I took the elevator as several people joined me. A good looking man in his suit and two women dressed
casual with their tight skirt and blouses just like me expect that they were wearing high heels which
made them look taller than me even though we might be the same height.

"you must be new." The lady with blonde hair asked.

"yes." I nodded.

Just then we arrived at the fourth floor.

"see you around." She said before going to the opposite direction.

I was told that the CEO usually comes late so his assistant provided me with my room and the work that
I need to be done.

I glad to have my own office with cleared glass window and a desk and several shelves. The room has a
beige color paint and was decorated with several artificial plants.

I found it hard to sit on the chair with my four months' pregnant huge belly so I did some adjustments to make me feel much comfortless.

The morning hours passed by slowly as I was able to complete half of the task I was given. Im a person who can understand something on one explanation so I found I easier to work.

Unfortunaly I had to take several breaks because I stated feeling uncomfortable.
At home I usually walk
from here to there to make sure I don't get their feelings.
Having a small restroom next to my office helped me a lot rather than taking the elevator downstairs
much often.

Lunch hour approached so I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. I was happy that the lady
before from the elevator invited me to sit with her. I god a chicken salad and several French fries.

"Your cute with that belly." The second lady from the elevator commented.

"thanks." I nodded taking a spoon of the salad.

They introduced themselves. The blonde one's name was Bianca and she works as an accountant. Jessie was the brunettes name and she does the same position as Bianca. Bianca is the same age as me and Jessie is one year older. The started their work five months ago as Jessie graduated lately.

I was happy they didn't bother to ask much about my life but they do ask about the baby expect for the dad of the baby and I didn't even bother to talk about it.

We ended up talking about so much things. I actually stated to like them a lot.

Then my nightmare begins when everyone's attention shoots towards the elevator doors. I couldn't clearly see from the position where I was sitting.

"what it is?" I asked Jessie because Bianca was too busy looking for herself.

"oh it's the CEO's girlfriend. He told us that she will be joining us here from today. According to everyone's gossip she is some kind of angel."

He started moving toward in a direction where I could clearly see. I dropped my spoon as my whole body stop functioning expect for my heartbeat raising.

Thomas was along with Kelly my one and only best friend I had in school. Thomas was sort busy looking at how happy was Kelly.

All the memories of the past sank into my mind as I ran towards the restroom to puke for the second
time of the day. I flushed the toilet and sat there crying realizing that my ex-boyfriend and my best
friend was all perfect versions of fakeness.

As every one cleared up the cafeteria I washed my face and went towards my office hoping to meet Thomas because I knew I have to face him for the rest of my life.
I walked towards his office as I was commanded to hand the papers to him personally.

I knocked the door, but no response so I entered the room and the papers fell from my hands seeing Thomas and Kelly making out on the desks.

"Have some manners you....." Kelly stopped halfway after seeing that it was me.

Her eyes adjusted from my face to my belly and back to my face. I didn't bothered looking at her so my eyes shoot towards Thomas who was staring at my belly.

"Ohhh Alexa congratulations." She said running towards me but I got out of the room and ran to the cark park tear streaming down my face.
