Thank you so much for all the hits on my last chapter since I posted on Sunday. I hope you will enjoy this part anyways.
It was fun to write the Hellcheer drive part back to Eddie's that episode one so sadly denied us on tv. Especially as Grace herself said that she felt like Chrissy would have dumped Jason in episode 2 and would have wanted to spend more time with Eddie.
Which made me think something had to have been shared between them on the drive home as before that they only had the table chat.
For the song connection they shared I had really wanted to do Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi but sadly it was released in October 1986 so wouldn't have worked.
Still I feel like the alternative song choice lyrics really well worked.
As always I'd love to hear any comments from readers if you got time. I'm already started drafting chapter 3 so will try and post asap.Eddie's Song - Kiss Her You Fool
Chrissy's song - Secret Dreams by Bon Jovi
Chrissy began to tap her feet from side to side as she checked her watch again.
It was almost ten and still there was no sign of Eddie.
Fingers crossed he was on the way as she was freezing her butt off in her cheerleader outfit standing in the chilly March night.
After Hawkins High had won the basketball title for the season (thanks to Lucas Sinclair)Chrissy had went to congratulate Jason and the team.
Thankfully Jason was caught up in the high of the result to really pay Chrissy that much attention when she said she was going home to change.
Jason said he loved her before they parted but for some reason Chrissy couldn't bring herself to say it back.
I mean she had tried to force herself a few times to say it back but every time she went to respond Eddie's face came into her conscious.
Chrissy literally couldn't get over how handsome Eddie actually was up close and her heart had been tied up in excited knots all day recalling how carefree the conversation with Eddie had been.
Honestly he had this energy and charisma that she hadn't been expecting .
Before it got too awkward Chrissy had quickly hugged Jason to cover the fact that she hadn't said anything back.
Then Chrissy made some excuse about the fact her mother was waiting to pick her up around the corner and she had to go.
Of course Chrissy had no intentions of doing that as she had already told her mother she was planning to sleep over with a friend from the squad. In a strange way it was rather thrilling to be lying to those around her!
I mean if anyone told her that at the start of the day she would be waiting on the curb to have Eddie Munson pick her up she never would have believed it for a second.
Then add on the fact she was going back to his to take drugs with him and she would have called them beyond crazy!
It really was the strangest times but actually Chrissy for some reason felt safe with Eddie.
Though it was a crazy she just knew in her soul that this is where she wanted and needed to be right now.
Perhaps one good thing was coming from her nightmares and Chrissy felt like Eddie would have really wanted to try and help if she decided to confide in him about them.
The peace of the night was shattered suddenly when Chrissy saw Eddie's van speeding round the corner as it came to a abrupt and spluttering stop in front of hers.
Of course it would fit that he would drive like a wild man as well Chrissy thought to herself.
Eddie had a massive grin planted on his face as he went to open the passenger side door for her now.
