Just a Game (Sonic.exe x Reader)

(Reader P.O.V.)

I hand the laptop to Miles and nearly fall off the roof. Much to my luck, the otherworldly Sonic pulls me close to him and then suddenly vanishes. I fall to the floor and a gloved hand reaches out to me. "It's over. You're safe now." Miles smiles and helps me to my feet but what's this eerie feeling at the back of my mind?

*Some months later...*

Miles is still a two-tailed fox. It took some time to get used to but we're back to being best friends like old times. He's in the kitchen making food. PB&Js aren't supposed to take that long... I walk into a red-painted room. "I'm home, dArLiNg..."
