Ace was panicking, he'd just gone off on a tangent about how crazy Riddle was with his strict adherence to rules, only for the said redhead to appear behind him and hear everything. So yeah, he was in trouble. More than he already was.
"Oh Riddle! You're crazy cute today!" Cater says, trying to defuse the situation.
"Hmph. Cater, keep running your mouth like that and you'll lose it, along with the rest of your head." The red haired boy states, rather threateningly.
"Hey now, give me a break..." The diamond boy says nervously.
"Myah! You're the guy who put that weird collar on me at the entrance ceremony!" Grim exclaims.
"And you're the new students who were nearly expelled yesterday. I'll ask you not refer to someone's Unique Magic as a "weird collar"." Riddle states. "Good lord, the headmaster's softness with rule breakers like you is going to send this whole campus spiraling into chaos one day. Those who break the rules should have their heads removed immediately, without acceptation." He then adds.
"Honestly, given the man's, "eccentric character", I don't doubt that entirely... Though the part about rule-breakers, seems a bit much..." Ren thinks to himself. Riddle then turns to him with narrowed eyes.
"As for you... Just what the hell was that?! Do you have any idea who you threw a knife at!? What is wrong with you?!" The red head begins shouting, yet Ren didn't flinch. "You know, if you were placed in Heartslabyul, I'd have taken your head by now!" He continues and Ren then stands up in front of the shorter boy.
"What's stopping you?" He asks with a straight face, yet with a glint in his eye. The air between the two suddenly grew dense and the others flinch back.
"Man, the dorm leader alone looks like a wimp but almost talks like a monster... While Ren looks like the quiet kid just to turn out to be—Yikes!" Ace mutters then exclaims as lightning began sparking between the two.
"I'll make this quite clear... The headmaster may have forgiven you, for now, but if you break anymore rules, I assure you I will not." The Heartslabyul prefect states.
"Well I'm in trouble then, I actually prefer to shatter the rules all together. And I'll make this clear; I'm not intimidated by arrogant brats like you..." The ravenette says with an innocent-looking smile, but with clear hints of mischief behind it.
"Uh... So, Dorm Leader, sir... Any chance I could talk you into removing this collar by any chance?" Ace asks, trying desperately to break the tension.
"Hmm... I had intended to remove it once you'd learned your lesson, but judging by what you said earlier, you haven't learned a thing. So, I think I'll leave it on you for a little longer." The Heartslabyul prefect responds.
"There's no need for worry, the first-year curriculum is more focused on magical theory and preparation than practice. Plus, your inability to use magic will prevent anymore incidents like yesterday from occurring." He continued and Ren felt his eye twitch a little from his tone.
"Now, if you've finished your meal, you should quit gossiping and get to preparing for your next class. Laws of the Queen of Hearts No. 271, states: "One must leave the table within fifteen minutes of completing their meal". You do understand what happens to those who break the rules, right?" The redhead says then asks.
"Another insane rule..." Ace sighs, sounding tired of this.
"I believe you mean: "Yes, Dorm Leader"!" Riddle exclaims and the boy flinches.
"Yes, Dorm Leader!" Ace and Deuce both say at the same time. Ren just scoffs.
"Very well, then." The dorm leader says, seemingly satisfied.
