As soon as they reached within sight of the cottage, Joker stops the Mona-Bus, and everyone gets out. Morgana himself then transforms back, and everyone takes a moment to breathe.
"Is this far enough?" Grim asks, while panting.
"Looks like it." Morgana says, panting himself.
"Okay... Now that we're far enough away... What the hell was that?!" Ace shouts. "First that, creature... No one said anything about that! But more importantly, I thought you didn't have magic! And Deuce, what was that back there?! And what is up with your clothes?" The boy fires question after question.
"Huh? My clothes?" The spade boy asks, then notices his new clothes. "What!?! What happened to my clothes?! Where did these come from?!" He exclaims.
"You seriously just now notice?" Ace questions, then turns to Joker. "What the hell was that, anyway?! I thought you had no magic!" He exclaims.
"It's not exactly magic... Well, at least magic that's not familiar here..." Said boy replies. "It's called persona, in which the physical manifestation of one's will of rebellion is born." He explains while adjusting his glove.
"Persona... You mean, like Dante...?" Deuce suddenly asks, getting their attention. "I'm not sure why, but that word really resonates with me, especially in regards to Dante... Is that what he is?" He says then asks.
"Exactly. You awakened your inner rebel. Your clothes are a direct result of this, they reflect your personal interpretation of what a rebel is." Morgana picks up.
"My, interpretation of a rebel...?" Deuce asks while looking his clothes once more.
"And how are you able to turn into, whatever you are, and a bus?!" Ace asks next.
"It mostly depends on human cognition. This here is technically my true form. As for the bus part, for some reason "cats turning into buses", is a widespread stray thought amongst people's cognition. I got no idea why either." The cat explains.
"It's human thought... Doesn't really make sense half the time." Joker supports.
"Okay... Anyways, let's just go home. I'd rather be expelled than have to fight that thing anytime soon." The red boy says next.
"Wha?! Don't screw with me! I'd rather die than face expulsion!" Deuce exclaims.
"Ha! You sure talk big for someone worse at magic than me. Sure, you got that new "persona"... But you still got your ass kicked back there. Go alone if you want. I'm done." Ace says back in a taunting manner.
"Oh, that right? Then stay right cowering like a spineless coward!" The spade boy exclaims, suddenly very aggressive.
"Huh? Coward? Who exactly are you talking about?" Ace questions.
"Uuhhh, Deuce... Did you switch up your character?" Grim asks the spade boy.
"You're starting to remind of a certain blonde." Morgana comments. Ren himself could faintly see the resemblance, especially in the phantom wear department.
"Huh? Uh... A-ahem! My bad. I lost my composure there a bit." Deuce says, clearly embarrassed of his display.
"Now, what to do... Can your magic help in this situation?" Joker contemplates then asks the three.
"Like the headmaster said earlier, magic isn't all-powerful. If you can't imagine it, then it won't work. Large-scale or complicated magic require a lot of training to use. Even with this, "power of persona", I'm guessing it also has its limits." Deuce explains then shakes his head. "Oh... Huh? Why do I feel tired all of a sudden...?" He says and starts falling over.
