Ochako is their local recovery girl in that she bandages Kukumi up and treats everything she can see, but anything that may be broken is beyond her. So, first, she checks for a concussion between Kukumi's conscious spells. Thankfully they could let her rest.
"Flashfreeze heatwave huh? They worked really hard on it I can only imagine how that blast felt and then forcing herself to run afterward." Ochako breathes, sitting next to Kukumi's unconscious body. "Good thing they got close enough for you to go help. Shoto isn't in the best condition."
Tenya nods to her, not taking his eyes off Kukumi. "I should have stayed. She is too risky always putting herself in harms way."
"It's always to help the team and get away." But, Ochako stands, "you couldn't have stayed if they saw Kota we would be losing our biggest informant."
"Who should have known that they were on rounds that late." Tenya snaps.
Ochaco glares at him as she walks through the door. Tenya knew better, though. He is just a kid trying his hardest for his hero, just like Izuku all those years ago.
"Staring at her won't help. Come on. Izuku wants to talk to us." Ochako says softly before walking towards the stairs.
Tenya looks Kukumi over one last time before quietly shutting the door and following after Ochako. Izuku is pacing around the room, muttering angrily as Shoto takes up one of the couches. When Shoto sees Ochako, he sits up and leans back so she can start patching him up as best she can. Shadow is sitting on the other couch, watching everything quietly.
"Remind me again why you never use the damned gate quirk? I am pretty sure that on a night where we were caught in the open it would have been safer for your friends if you did." Tenya growls, glaring at Izuku.
Izuku whirls to look at him, madness and anger in his eyes, "she didn't die, Tenya. Or is she fighting for her life up there?"
"How would we know?! We aren't medical professionals! Ochako can't know how much damage there is from that blast! And yet here you stand perfectly intact like usual! I thought we were a team."
Izuku takes a breath before sitting next to Ochako and looking at Tenya more with pity than anger now. "Tenya, if I were to use the gate quirk it would tell the heroes far too much. I know I am not it's former user, but they still would get suspicious. Convenient as the quirk maybe it can only be used in situations where there is absolutely no other way out for any of us."
Tenya is still fuming as he sits next to Shadow. The answer is far from the best and doesn't quell any of his worry or anger, but would anything really other than Kukumi arriving to them in better condition tonight? "What did you want to discuss Izuku?"
Izuku smiles as if the whole ordeal is behind them. "Tonight was more of a success than we may think. We know where the Yakuza stands. And we have better information on the rounds of heroes. Not to mention Eri's growing comfortability."
"So basically everything, including getting caught, was a success?" Tenya spits, trying more than ever to calm down.
Izuku frowns, "not at all. I was merely looking on the bright side. As much as Shadow's addition to our team is a huge plus, it has made the heroes a far bigger problem to deal with." He sneers, "especially the number one. We have to get rid of him."
Todoroki perks up for a moment, "get rid of him?"
"We already talked about how that would be a bad idea. And now it would only make our situation worse. The heroes are on high alert. A murder would only worsen that." Ochako explains putting away the first aid kit.
