Kukumi figures that making a plan will make her intentions too well known or fail overall. So, winging it and going with the flow, just like she usually does, is the only plan she has. She is the most comfortable that way. So, she lets the hours roll through Tuesday, sets out her clothes for Wednesday, and works out to the point of exhaustion before bed so she can sleep.
That morning she goes through the motions and tries to assure herself that he may not even come. How would she know what he looks like? Idiot, you saw all the pictures from Izuku. You'll know. She tries to use that as comfort as Mitsuki and Masaru come in.
"Good morning Kukumi!" Mitsuki grins and holds out her hand for her morning tea which Kukumi dutifully hands over.
"You look quite lovely today Kukumi." Masaru notes with a smile.
Kukumi is wearing tight grey pants, a white silk tank top, and a blue blazer jacket with her hair down. She thought they might find it unprofessional but decided it was worth the risk last night. "Thank you, Mr. Bakugo. Can I get you anything?"
"Honey you should really have her get you some tea, she makes amazing tea! Always so warm."
Masaru smiles, "I would love some. Thank you."
Kukumi nods and runs off to make the tea. While in the kitchen, she hears a different set of heels quickly walk past the door, followed by some girls whispering.
"That's him! It's been weeks."
"I've missed looking at that eye candy."
"He could have thrived in this world as a model."
Kukumi finishes the tea and calmly finds the group of girls, "next time the son of the owners comes around you all should make yourself useful instead of letting him stand there looking lost." She snaps before turning on her heel and strutting toward him.
The pictures make it easier to stay calm. Dynamight is just a person without his hero costume. Then again, now that she sees him in everyday attire, she is baffled at how no one knows that he is Dynamight. He notices her walking toward him and raises a skeptical eyebrow at her. Yet, she holds her calm posture and a straight face.
"Mr. Bakugo, if you would follow me this way your parents are waiting for you in Mitsuki's office." She states as she grabs the mail off the receptionist's desk.
"I can find my way to her office myself."
"She's moved offices since you've been here, so it is fortunate you didn't try to make your way there before I talked to you." But, she grins at him, "Things change so often here, as I am sure you are aware."
"Painfully." He breathes, and Kukumi almost laughs.
Not now. Keep your cards close. They walk in silence, with only her heels making a soft clunk on the carpet into the maze that is the company.
He clears his throat, "I assume you are her new assistant?"
"Yeah, I came on last week. It was a pretty quick replacement."
"Well, you fit in well." He says stiffly.
Kukumi chuckles, "thank you."
"What is your name?"
She stops at the door and raises an eyebrow at him, "Kukumi. Here we are, do you need anything? Tea? Coffee? I ask now because your mother is going to take all of your time once you step in." He shakes his head, and Kukumi reaches for the door and holds it for him. "Good luck." She breathes softly before starting to pull the door closed.
"Ah Kukumi a moment!" Mitsuki calls, and she sucks in a breath before entering the room.
Bakugo grins at her, "should have kept that luck for yourself."
