Kukumi finally feels like she should be able to get somewhere with their help. Izuku helps put everything in its place and make dinner. There is silence between them, but for once, it feels easy and not charged with insanity. Once finished, they high-five and smile at each other.

"I'll go get the others." Izuku says, leaving Kukumi to clean up some of the mess.

Kukumi turns away from the door towards the sink and feels hands around her waist nearly instantly. It makes her jump before she starts to laugh. "Miss me?"

"You were supposed to call me Kukumi."

"Tenya, I got here just fine on my own."

He leans in so his lips are next to her ear, "maybe it wasn't for you."

She turns to face him with a smile, "you wanted the alone time before Izuku and the others got to me huh?" She raises an eyebrow playfully at him.

"I simply knew you were going to get stolen away the moment you arrived."

"And you missed me the most so you should have the most time with me." She says, standing on her toes to get her lips closer to his.

The things she feels for Tenya are fluttery sweet dreams. Things that belong in worlds of cotton candy skies and blossoming flowers. Butterflies and blushes. Things that are safe and comfortable. All of that is good, right? It makes her want to kiss him, among other things, so it has to be good...right?

She kisses him sweetly and quickly before the others come in. No need to make anything too public, right? "Next time I will call you first Tenya. I know you were worried that I was going to get myself in trouble. Just like with this entire mission. Behind enemy lines and too far for you to run if I need you." She starts to turn around to continue the dishes.

He grabs her hand before using his other to force her to look up at him, "no where is too far for me to run for you."

Kukumi grins, "alright alright. Worry wart. I hear you."

"Break it up lovebirds, I'm hungry." Kota shouts as he walks to the table.

Damn that kid. But to Kukumi's surprise, as Tenya lets her go, the others enter the room and sit like it is no big deal. She expected them to tease or something, so this is more jarring than she wants to admit.

"Well we have plenty of food." She grabs Tenya's hand and pulls him to sit at the table with her.

After they all start eating, Ochaco breaks the silence. "So, it took you getting back out of the house for Tenya to realize he has to show his feelings huh?" She teases, making Tenya's face flush.

"It was before then, but seems like some of us probably knew that from all the sneaking around." Kota grins and shrugs at Kukumi's accusation.

"You two aren't that sneaky with how you look at each other and how protective he is over you, you're worse than Deku and Ochaco. If you were really trying you need to try harder," He snarks, making Ochaco pinch his ear.

"Manners," Izuku warns, and everyone drops it for now.

After another moment with everyone digging in, Kukumi and Izuku make eye contact to cue her to start talking about her dilemma. "Guys, I need all of your help. With as much information as I have I still need more. We did irreparable damage when we took Tokoyami. The heroes are busy as hell, and I saw our target once since I started. I may get lucky and see him next week, but I need something else. I have to have multiple ins."

"A way to slowly integrate yourself into all aspects of his life. Showing up everywhere by mere coincidence." Ochaco says, completing the thought.

"Exactly. I have only information about his quirk and school personality. Which...unfortunately the personality bit seems to be changed drastically. He actually apologised to me the other day. I was baffled."
