15- Nick

Nick is the most wonderful person ever. He is the love of my life, or that's what I thought. Nick and I have a complicated relationship. We break up at least twice a month, then get back together. People call it toxic, but it's pretty funny if you ask us. We just get into a small argument and change our statuses to single. It isn't like we legit break up, until one day.

It was a Tuesday, and we had fought over something stupid. We should know better now that our breakups only last a few days, but it still is sad when it ends. I was sitting in the living room, and Nick walked out with all of his stuff. I didn't want to give up on the silent treatment, because I'm super competitive, but I felt like I needed to. I ignored my gut feeling and ignored him.

It was later that night when I realized it wasn't temporary. He had blocked me on all social media, except Instagram and posted about how he was done with our toxic relationship, and he needed someone better than me in his life. 

It must've been a prank on me or something, I convinced myself. But then, I haven't heard from Nick in 3 months. I finally accepted that he won't come back. I DMed him on Instagram and this is how it went.

nicolas.sturniolo: Don't text me.

Y/N: Hey Nick.

nicolas.sturniolo: I said don't text me. I only want you to text me in case of an emergency.

Y/N: I still love you.

I closed the Dm, and just went back to sleep.
