The following morning Lea came into his office with a smiling Angelica greeting her belated happy birthday.

After telling her what she missed yesterday which was not much thank goodness! She asked Angelica to make her a cup of coffee.

"Ay tamang-tama! The CEO sent a cake for you. Si Carlo ang nag deliver pero galing daw po kay Sir Aga." Said a beaming Angelica as if teasing her.

"So he did remember huh?" She said and let out a little smile.

"Uy nag expect siya!" Pagbibiro pa nito but she just smiled at her.

"Gaga' diyan ka na nga!" She answered and entered her office. And indeed there's a cake on the table.

Her smile immediately faded when she read what is printed on the cake.

Aga is smiling like a fool inside his office. He was advised that his editor-in-chief already arrived. Any minute now he knew Lea will see his gift for her.

While reading the today's newspaper he was startled when his door opened revealing Lea who is now carrying the cake he assumed that came from him courtesy of his brothers.

He was smiling from ear to ear waiting for a thank you and they'll share the cake. His smile faded when he noticed that Lea is angry... okay erase that she is furious.

"Nang aasar ka ba Aga?" She asked when she reached his table.

"What do you mean?" He confusedly asked the mad woman.

"First, you didn't even greeted me yesterday, okay lang naman that you forgot, next I found a cake in my office from you.. matutuwa na sana ako because somehow you remembered, but I was wrong! Not only that you forgot that I'm allergic to strawberries by giving me a —- surprise! Strawberry cake are you trying to kill me? tapos ang naka lagay sa cake "Thank You" ? What? You are thanking me for giving my virginity to you? Or are you thanking me for getting you laid? O baka naman you want me to thank you for giving me birthday sex?!" Lea furiously slammed the cake on the table. Good thing the cake is still inside the box, if not malamang kumalat na yun sa lamesa niya.

"Sorry! We didn't mean to hear everything!" Angelica said who is standing at his door with Carlo, Jolina and Marvin.

"What are you doing here?!" Lea shouted at the four.

"We followed you kasi galit na galit ka when you exited your office.. and ate Lea, it's not Kuya's fault." Carlo interjected and he gabe him a deathly glare.

"Lea, please let me explain." He said softly, trying to calm the angry lioness in front of her who happens to be very red in the face already.

When she didn't replied Carlo speaks again.

"Ate Lea, I ordered chocolate cake for you on Kuya's behalf and I swear hindi thank you yung ipinalagay ko sa cake. Happy birthday talaga yun. Namali lang ng na deliver kanina pero tinanggap ko na din kasi sayang naman at saka kawawa naman yung rider e." His brother explained but Lea looks more angrier this time.

He expected her to shout at him based on the look of her face but instead she just closed her eyes and when she opened them he can see that her eyes were a little bit glassy. It's as if she's going to cry.

"Lea..." he reached for her hand but she avoided it and walked back a few steps away from him.

"A simple happy birthday would have suffice Aga." She said and walked out of his office leaving the five of them in silence.

He was about to follow her pero hinarang siya nung apat.

"I'm sorry Kuya Aga, but let Ate be for now. She needed space." Jolina said as they all entered his office closing the door behind them.

But of course being Aga means he is stubborn, very stubborn.

He still ran after Lea. He reached her office but the door was closed and it was locked.

"Lea! Open the door! Please, let's talk!" He called.

He waited for a minute but no one is answering. He knocked again louder this time and that's when the door opened revealing Lea. She had no tears in her eyes but they were puffy.

"Lea, look.. I'm sorry. Hindi ko naman alam na magkakamali yung pinag-order-an ni Carlo. I would never do anything to harm you. You know that." He said with all the sincerity he could muster.

"You don't get my point Aga. That's the problem e... palaging hindi mo alam! It's either you forgot or you don't know! And you wonder why I can't accept your marriage proposal?" Lea shouted at him without giving a care kung sino ang makakarinig.

He really doesn't have any idea why she is so mad at him.

"You forgot that it was my birthday yesterday didn't you?" She asked while looking at him straight into his eyes and she found a hint of guilt in them.

"See? You didn't remember!"

"Of course I remembered. Kaya nga I was trying to make it up to you diba?" He said and tried to reach for her hand pero umiwas lang ito.

"You don't have to." She answered at tinalikuran na naman siya and as usual hinabol na naman niya ito sa hallway.

"Lea please?" He said when he was able to caught up with her.

"Please what?" She answered sarcastically.

"Forgive me. I'm sorry kung ano man ang kasalanan ko sa'yo. Kung bakit galit na galit ka sa akin mula nung bumalik ako. I'm sorry. Please give me a chance to make it up to you!" He pleaded but it seems like Lea gets more angrier.

"I will forgive you once you already found out why I'm mad at you. Until then, don't even dare try to talk to me!"

"Fvck this Lea! I'm swallowing my pride here! Ganyan ka ba katigas?! Tangina!" He shouted and everyone in the hallway stopped on their track.

Maybe they are wondering why they are fighting if they haven't heard enough.

"Wag mo akong murahin Aga! Pwedeng wala ka ngang kasalanan dahil wala kang alam pero tangina din ikaw ang dahilan ng lahat! Matigas ako? Itanong mo sa sarili mo kung bakit! And remember this, I will never marry you!" She shouted back at him and it made him feel hopeless.

"Fine. If that's what you want. Kung ayaw mo, ayaw ko din." He replied and turned his back on her.

Gaano ba kalaki ang kasalanan niya kay Lea? Goodness! Prior going back to the Philippines they never saw each other since he was 10 and she's 8, kaya wala siyang natatandaan na kasalanan niya dito.

They were really close when they are younger, but when he came back everthing changes. She became distant. Yes she's always near but he can't seem to reach her.

Para itong nagtayo ng napaka taas na pader sa pagitan nilang dalawa and no matter how much he tried to break that wall, she wouldn't let him.

He really don't know how he could decipher the mystery behind Lea's anger. He tried to think hard and that's when it him.

It couldn't be could it?
