"Why the hell is everybody here?!" Lea shouted when saw all of her family members and Aga's family in her living room when she and Aga finished talking.
Both of their parents had glimmer in their eyes, while their siblings gave them skeptical looks.
"Ahm, Ate Lea..." Umpisa ni Jolens.
"We called them here so we can prepare for your wedding!" Elsie her Mom, happily exclaimed.
"What do you mean?" Nagtatakang tanong niya at tiningnan si Aga as if asking him to rescue her.
"I warned you already Lei." He whispered.
"Aherm! Isn't it too fast po?" Angelu came to her rescue.
"Of course it's not! It should've happened a long time ago!" Aga's Mom, A.K.A her Ninang.
"What's going on here po ba?" She asked trying to calm herself.
"Lea, our parents want you to get married today!" Angelu stated which made her eyes widen like a saucer.
"What?!" She shouted when she understood the severity of the situation.
She felt a pair of hands on her waist.
"Calm down.. Sumakay ka na lang Lei." She heard Aga whispered in her ear.. sa nakakakita ay mukha silang mag jowa na naglalambingan, especially his arms is wrapped tightly around her.
"Ma.. baka pwede naman pong hindi today? Maybe next month? We are not prepared yet." Aga said, trying to take control over the situation.
"There's nothing to prepare.. we already prepared it all!" Sagot naman ng Mommy ni Lea.
"What about my gown Mom?" She asked, with her eyebrow raised.
"Lea, anak have you forgotten that it is customary in our family to pass down your abuela's wedding gown? I already had it customized for you, even the size." Pag pipilit pa nito.
"And if you are thinking about the wedding rings, it's already taken care of as well." Jerry, Aga's father said.
"And what about the guests?" Carlo said, as he is trying to help his brother out.
"Well, we haven't thought about that yet, but I'm sure we can pull it off. You can have an intimate wedding ceremony."
"No. Ma, Ninang.. Please don't deprived me naman po from giving Lea her dream wedding, I want our wedding to be special." Aga insisted.
"Aww.. mahal mo talaga si Lea ano?" Lea's Mom answered at biglang napatingin si Lea kay Aga waiting for his answer.
Please don't lie Aga. Lea thought.
"Of course I love her, kaya nga po I want the best for her." Aga answered straightforwardly while looking at her straight in the eyes.
If Lea didn't know the situation they were in, she could almost believe he's saying the truth, but then, she knew what their situation is so she felt disgusted.
Everyone is now looking at her as if waiting for her reaction.
She just faked a smile.
"Bueno, hindi na namin ipipilit ang kasal ngayong araw, we will give you two weeks to do everything dahil kakaunti na lang naman ang aasikasuhin." Her dad said.
Nagkatinginan na naman sila nila Angelu, Jolina on the other hand have worry written all over her face.
"Can I be excused for a while?" Lea asked and looked at her sister. Jolina nodded at lumapit sa kanya.
She grabbed her sisters hand at kaagad itong hinila palabas ng unit niya.
"Ate, ano bang gulo tong pinasok niyo ni Kuya Aga?" Jolina asked as soon as they took off the elevator, they are now walking outside her condo building.
There is a small park located across the street at doon niya dinala ang kapatid.
"How sure are you na gulo tong pinasok namin Jolens?" She asked.
"Ate, para namang hindi namin alam kung ano ang nangyayari sa inyo ni kuya niyan e. Para kaya kayong aso at pusa last time, tapos ngayon ikakasal na kayo? I mean, you knew naman na lahat kami is pushing you to be together, but really? A wedding? This soon?"
She exhaled and looked at her sister. She knew she's right pero bakit nga ba merong space sa puso niya ang gusto na lang sumunod sa gusto ng mga magulang nila?
"Have you forgiven him already ate?"
Nagulat naman siya sa tanong nito.
"Don't give me that look ate, you know what I meant. Hindi ko siguro alam ang dahilan why you hated Kuya Aga so much mula nung dumating siya but if you are really going to push through with this, napatawad mo na ba siya?"
She can't help but let out a small cry, the child in her still mourns the lost of a bestfriend. A forgotten promise and her broken heart.
She felt Jolina hugged her and patted her back.
"Do you think that I shouldn't marry him?" She asked the younger woman.
"Ate, ikaw lang naman ang makaka sagot niyan, but tell me honestly, do you love him?"
She cried even louder when she heard that question.
She didn't need words, Jolina already knew her answer.
Jolina looked at her sister with pity. She pretty much had an idea on why her sister hate Aga, but she's in no position to assume.
How can someone love someone so much and hate that person at the same time?
"I hate him! I hate him so much!" Lea shouted while crying.
"Everything is his fault! We wouldn't be in this position kung hindi kami nahuli ni Mommy at ni Ninang na nag me-make-out sa unit ko!" She added.
"Sshh, ate, tama na.. kasalanan mo din naman kasi, bakit ba kasi pinatulan ml di kuya Aga sa kalandian niya kanina? Binigyan mo pa ng susi si Mom ng unit mo."
"Kahit pa! I should have agreed na lang sana kanina e, okay lang naman, pwede naman kami maghiwalay na lang after a few years but that damn guy, didn't know when to shut up!" Lea said intensely and she even stood up.
"Ano ba ang ikinagagalit mo sa nangyari kanina? At ate, if you don't mind, bakit ka ba galit kay kuya Aga?"
"Sino ba ang hindi magagalit dun? He's super babaero, ever since he came here wala ng ginawa kundi makipag landian, plus he is a liar! He always lie! Hindi ko alam kung ano ang nakita ng mga babae dun e. Oo nga he's gwapo but gosh! I wouldn't want to be married to a guy na hindi ako sigurado na ako lang ang babaeng tinatabihan sa pagtulog." Lea stated while Jolina's eyes widen like a saucer.
"Yun lang ba ang ikinagagalit mo sa akin Lea?" She heard a voice asked from behind her and her eyes too, like Jolina's widen when she saw Aga with his siblings.
"Ka-kanina pa ba kayo diyan?" She stuttered.
"Long enough to hear what you just said, so tell me yan lang ba ang dahilan why you hated my guts since I came home?" He asked again.
"I already told you Aga, alam mo kung bakit ako galit sa'yo, now if you still cannot remember, I won't tell you!" Lea angrily said and was about to walk out pero pinigilan siya ni Aga.
"I'm marrying you now didn't I?" He asked.
Those words was all it took for Lea to cry in anger.
"You remembered?!" She asked hastily.
Aga nodded his head.
"Since when?" She asked, fighting the urge to slap him if he answered wrong.
"I never forgot Lea." He answered.
"Well then fvck you Aga!" She shouted and slapped his face.
