Those words was all it took for Lea to cry in anger.
"You remembered?!" She asked hastily.
Aga nodded his head.
"Since when?" She asked, fighting the urge to slap him if he answered wrong.
"I never forgot Lea." He answered.
"Well then fvck you Aga!" She shouted and slapped his face.
Lea was about to walk away but again Aga pulled her. He hugged her tightly at pinipilit naman niyang kumawala mula dito.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry if you thought that I forgot the promise I made Lea, natakot lang ako, ayaw ko naman mag assume na hinintay mo ako Lei. Ang tagal kong nawala saka mga bata pa tayo nun."
Itinulak ni Lea si Aga palayo sa kanya.
"Pero hinintay kita Ags. I waited for your letters, I waited for you to visit but nothing came, you never came."
"And when you came back? You remember what's the first thing you told me? You told me I got fat! And after that you dated every single woman in Metro Manila except me!
And now, you're telling me that you never forgotten your promise? What do you expect me to feel?"
"Do you want me to be happy? That the man who promised to marry me flirted with everyone and will only marry me just because our mothers caught us almost having sex in my kitchen?"
"Lea please, let me explain." Aga pleaded.
"Lea, when I came back and saw you, I was so amazed by your beauty, bigla akong nainggit sa lahat ng lalaking naka kita how you bloomed through the years, nabalitaan ko din na may boyf-"
"I broke-up with him before you even came back Aga."
"I didn't know."
"Of course you won't know! You never asked!"

"What?!" Aga didn't get to finish what he was about to say because again, Lea cut him off.
"Will you let me finish?!" Aga shouted which made Lea close her mouth.
"Lea, the promise I made to you years ago? Wala naman akong planong tuparin yun when I left."
She was about to answer but Aga lift up his hand to stop her.
"I only wanted to marry for love Lei, not over some silly childhood promise. And what do I know about love at 10 years old?"
Her shoulders drop and the water works begin again. Maybe she never knew what love was as well when she was still eight years old, but she grew-up with the thought that love only meant her and Aga.
She turned her back to walk away.
"I'm not finished yet Lea, where do you think you're going?" She heard Aga's voice at nilingon naman niya kaagad ito.
"I understand that you don't love me Aga, what is there to add? Saan ba to pa-punta?" She asked while wiping her tears.
Aga immediately went to her and wiped her tears. "Sshh, stop crying Lei."
"But you are hurting me." She answered. She felt so vulnerable that when Aga hugged her, she just let him.
"I swear, this is the last time Lei, listen to me please?" Aga pleaded at bahagyang inilayo ang sarili para mag pantay ang mga mata nila.
"I'm marrying you Lea." Masuyo nitong sabi habang nakatitig sa mga mata niya. Hindi naman niya malaman ang isasagot dito..

Lea immediately wiped her tears when she heard Bobby's voice.
"Funny how the sweetest memory we had is the most painful one no?" She answered, not removing her eyes from the ocean.
"Oh" ani Bobby at inabutan siya ng tissue, agad naman niya itong tinanggap.
"Ayaw mo ba talagang umuwi?" He asked.
"No. I'd rather stay here for now, masakit pa Joaquin."
"Okay, kung yan ang gusto mo, hindi naman kita mapipilit kung ayaw mo talagang umuwi ng Pilipinas, basta Lea, ang sa akin lang, wag ka naman mag iyak ng mag iyak, baka mamaya may mangyari sa inyo ng baby."
Agad niyang hinawakan ang tiyan niya. Yes she's pregnant. She's 8 months pregnant at halos pitong buwan na din siya dito sa Italy.
It's been seven months since she ran away.
Bobby was kind enough to let her use his beach house, tanging isang kasambahay at driver lang ang kasama niya doon. Bobby will just come and visit her once in a while, she begged him not to tell anyone where she is.
Bobby is worried about her, especially now na malapit na siyang manganak. He can't stay with her all the time because of his business in the Philipines.
"Don't worry about me, minsan lang naman e." Sagot niya sa kaibigan.
"Lea, don't you think you're family deserved to know where you are? Isa pa, you need help."
"I already contacted Jolens and Angelu but I never told them where I am unless they promised not to tell anyone, especially our families and ---"
"Aga?" Dugtong ni Bobby sa sasabihin niya.
"Yes."
"Why did you leave Lei?"
She bit her lip, she's not even ready to talk about it yet.
"I can't tell you yet, Wacky." She answered at tumango tango naman ito.
"Fine, but Lei, don't you think he deserves to know that you are pregnant?"
"He knows. I sent him a message when I found out."
"And what did he say?"
"I don't know. I blocked him after that and I changed my number too. It's enough that he knew." She said and walked back to her room from the balcony.
She opened her closet to find something to wear, by doing that ay tumambad sa kanya ang damit na suot niya when she last saw Aga.
She fought the urge to caress the fabric.
It's her wedding dress.
