Chapter Fourteen - "Paintball"

"Why can't I renew it?" Sunghoon asked as he sat with the CEO of Be:lift.

"I'm sorry Sunghoon, but we're not going to allow you to renew your Music Bank contract." The CEO replied.

"But why? Wonyoung is renewing it."

"You have a tour coming up soon and we can't have anything interflict. This might be one of your last tours since you only renewed your contract for a few more years."

Sunghoon sighed and understood the CEO. He bowed and left back to Enhypen's practice room.

When Sunghoon entered the practice room, the rest of his members were practicing new routines for the tour.

"What did he say?" Jay asked.

"He isn't allowing me to renew mine."

"What really?!" The rest of the members said in shock.

"I wanted to, but I guess it should be fine." Sunghoon said.

With IVE :

"Ugh i can't believe they're not allowing him to renew his contract!" Wonyoung exclaimed in disbelief.

"So are you getting a new MC partner?" Gaeul asked.

Wonyoung nodded.

"I dont want a new MC partner tho, it was great when it was Sunghoon." Wonyoung whined.

"At least you still see him a lot, and you're marrying him soon." Rei said.

"Oh unnie!" Leeseo exclaimed. "We need to plan your bachelorette party!"

"Oh right." Wonyoung said.

She had been really busy recently especially with the MC renewal contract crisis and had forgot she still needed to plan one.

"How about we go to the spa and shop?" Yujin suggested. "I think that's what is normally done for these."

"That works! We should get dinner or lunch too!" Liz added.

Everyone nodded and decided thats what they would do.

With Enhypen :

"Hyung, can I plan your bachelor party?" Niki asked Sunghoon.

Sunghoon wasn't too sure if he could trust Niki, but he did need help planning.

"Well..."

"PLEASE! I have an idea you'll love! It's super fun! What if Jungwon hyung helps me?" Niki begged.

Sunghoon considered this, what's the worst that could happen? Since Jungwon was helping, it should turn out okay.

"Well, okay since Jungwon would help you."

Niki jumped towards Sunghoon and hugged him.

"THANK YOU! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!" he said extremely loudly before hurrying off to find Jungwon.

The next week :

"THIS IS WHAT YOU HAD PLANNED?" Sunoo yelled as he quickly dodged a paintball being shot towards his face.

"WHY DID YOU TRUST NIKI TO DO THIS?" Jay yelled.

It was almost impossible to hear, all anyone could hear was the sound of paintballs firing and incredibly loud music.

"WHAT THIS IS AWESOME!" Niki said.

"JUNGWON I THOUGHT YOU HELPED HIM! WHY DID YOU ALLOW THIS!" Sunghoon yelled to Jungwon.

"RELAX IT'S FINE WE PLANNED DINNER TOO, BESIDES THIS IS KINDA FUN!" Jungwon screamed back.

"MY FACE!" Jay screamed, throwing his hands in the air and wiping his face from the colorful paint shot at him.

"I GOT YOU HYUNG!" Jake laughed pointing to Jay's now colorful face.

"MAN DOWN MAN DOWN!" someone started yelling.

"WHERE DID HEESEUNG HYUNG GO?" Sunoo yelled.

"HE'S THE MAN DOWN!" Niki screamed, pointing to Heeseung who was lying on the ground.

"I SHOT HIM HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Niki cackled.

"How did you get him onto the floor though?!" Sunghoon asked in a normal voice but no one heard him over the noise.

"I'M OKAY!" Heeseung announced now off the ground, but Niki shot him again.

"ROUND ONE IS OVER. GOOD JOB TEAM 'Enhypen' FOR WINNING FIRST." An intercom suddenly announced.

"WE WON!" Niki shouted victoriously.

"Thank goodness thats over," Sunghoon sighed.

"ROUND TWO STARTING IN 5...4...3..." The intercom suddenly boomed.

"What?! Another round! How many rounds are there?" Jake asked.

"I think around thirty." Jungwon recalled.

"THIRTY?!" All the members yelled in shock.

"1...START!"

Meanwhile with IVE :

"That will be ₩62,500 (roughly $500 US dollars.)" The cashier said as Wonyoung checked out. Just as Wonyoung started pulling out her wallet Yujin stopped her.

"We can pay for it, us five split it. It's a gift from us."

Wonyoungs eyes widened in shock.

"Are you sure? I can pay for it, it's my stuff anyway."

"No, it's a fine, pre-wedding gift." Liz added.

Wonyoung's members paid for her shopping along with theirs.

"What are we doing for dinner?" Leeseo asked.

"We're going to eat BBQ." Rei answered.

"Oooh!" Wonyoung cheered. "Let's eat galbi!"

One hour later :

"This meat is so good!" Gaeul exclaimed as IVE sat down at a restaurant currently eating galbi and naengmyeon.

The members agreed and enjoyed their meal.

"Ughhhhh im so tiredddddddddd." A male voice complained as he and six others entered the restaurant.

"Huh?" Wonyoung said, looking up from her food. "Is it just me or does that man sound like Niki."

Liz laughed.

"You're thinking everyone is Niki, although last time it was Niki."

"Noonas??" The same voice said approaching IVE.

"Oh it is Niki."

"Why do you guys look so tired?" Wonyoung asked Sunghoon as it seemed as if all the members were out of breath and worn out.

"We went paintballing." Sunghoon explained shuddering at the thought.

The IVE members laughed.

"Was it that bad?" Gaeul asked.

All the members nodded, except Niki.

"What are you guys talking about? It was great!"

The restaurant workers were kind enough to connect other tables to IVE's table so Enhypen could sit together with IVE.

"So, who's excited for the wedding?" Leeseo asked.

Everyone raised their hands.

"It's in a week right?" Jay asked.

Jangkku nodded and everyone enjoyed their meal.
