Chapter Thirteen - "Happy Birthday!"

"Where are we going?" Wonyoung asked as her members guided her into the car all carrying bags.

"You'll see." Leeseo answered.
The group drove for a while before reaching the airport.

"Why are we at the airport? Do we have a schedule I forgot about? Shoot, did I forget about Kcon?!" Wonyoung panicked.

"No, this isn't for work, don't worry." Gaeul assured putting her bag in the car.

"Shoot i didn't pack a bag- '' Wonyoung said, starting to turn back to the house. Liz grabbed her wrist to stop her.

"We packed one for you." she explained.
Wonyoung just looked at her before following Yujin into the airport without saying anything.
That's a little strange, she thought.

After passing through security Wonyoung's eye caught seven figures that looked familiar to her. One turned around to reveal a tall Japanese looking guy.

Is that Niki? Wonyoung thought growing curious.

Liz walked over to Wonyoungs side.

"What are you looking at?" she asked.

"Doesn't that guy look a bit like Niki?" Wonyoung asked gesturing to the man.

Shoot, that is Niki. Liz thought.

Since the trip was a surprise Wonyoung had no clue why they were at the airport, let alone the fact Enhypen was there too.
Luckily the Enhypen boys had a different flight than IVE's but the flight was still around the same time meaning they were both at the airport.

Since Wonyoung was still pretty sure that the guy she saw was Niki she decided to text Sunghoon even though part of her doubted it was him.
But since he was with six other guys it was still a possibility...

Like how all the IVE members were currently dressed, the guy Wonyoung swore was Niki and the six others he was with all wore plain outfits that wouldnt draw attention and covered their faces with sunglasses and bucket hats.

[hi, what are you all doing rn?]

Sunghoon
[Us? Nothing much just doing work.]

Just in case Wonyoung reached out to Sunghoon, Liz texted to the secret group chat without Wonyoung that she had seen them and gave Sunghoon a heads up.

[Oh okay, I swore I saw a guy that looked like Niki, there were six other people too. I'm at the airport rn.]

Sunghoon
[Huh that's weird, we're just doing a schedule right now, listening to some demos and working on choreography.]

Wonyoung <3
[Oh okay, I guess it wasn't Niki then, I don't know why I thought it was him.]

Flight XXX is now boarding, thats again Flight XXX at Gate XX. The intercom suddenly announced.

"That's our flight!" Gaeul said, rushing the rest of the members to go to the gate.

[Our flight is boarding, i'll text u when we land! Bye <3]
