"IM NOT PREGNANT" is the first thing that comes out of my mouth barging into my best friends room.
"babe no one is shocked by that you don't get any bitches" she mumbles under her comforter. 1) that's a lie i get bitches 2) she's just bitter because she's mourning the death of Derek Shepherd our favorite dilf.
"pissing on my mood will not bring back Derek. so get up we have to celebrate the fact that i am not pregnant" I say while pulling her comforter off and pulling her up.
"bitch your period is late one fucking day stop being so dramatic," she says while walking to the bathroom. If we don't celebrate the small things then what will we celebrate? NOTHING.
I walk downstairs and make myself a cup of coffee, I would make Mina a cup too but she decided to be rude so she can suck it.
Today is my first day of university and i'm really nervous. I'm attending NYU with a full ride scholarship. Being a poor minority and all.
I recently moved to New York with my best friend Mina. Sometimes I wonder how we're friends because we couldn't be more opposites. all i know is one day in 9th grade i saw her blushing after having a verbal sparing with Isaac Brown and decided to come over and ask if she had a crush on him. she told me to unalive myself. HAPPILY EVER AFTER
I am studying engineering and she's studying psychology. I love math and I love building stuff so i was like why not? i remember being in mathletes during my time in high school and that resulted in my only friends being Mina and Isaac.
Yes the same Isaac that called Mina pretty. he has had a crush on her since he was 10. According to mina he used to chase her around and tease her about everything. She still thinks he hates her because he teases her to this day. My poor best friend can't see that man is down bad for her.
The only reason i became friends with Isaac is because he was the only man in mathletes that wasn't misogynistic. Being a woman in STEM is extremely difficult so i was more than willing to be friends with anyone that wasn't misogynistic. Let's not forget Emma, she made fun of me in front of the other guys but i don't blame her she was a product of her environment. I was able to help her see putting me down wasn't going to help her gain respect. she realized she had a lot of internalized misogyny and apologized to me and worked on herself.
After finishing my coffee I walk to my room and decide to start getting ready. but first i start blasting august by taylor swift since it's august hehe. I start looking through my clothes and decide on a pink sweater and blue jeans with some pretty pink shoes.

I will not be putting on makeup even though i really want to. I don't want my classmate to get used to me with makeup on because if I ever go without any on they will ask me if i'm tired or something so let's just avoid that.
I walk out of my room and see mina already dressed and drinking the coffee i left her (i'm weak i had to make it for her).
"you look so good you're gonna kick some butt today" I tell her and honestly she looks so hot everyone is going to fall in love with her. She's wearing a black dress and some black doc martins.

Before she can throw a shoe at me i'm running to the door and yelling "I'LL TEXT YOU WHEN IM ON CAMPUS".
