I went home and made Mac and cheese for mina. I don't like mac and cheese so I just ate cereal.

I changed into more comfortable clothes for studying. Baggy jeans and a sweater is what I'm wearing while walking to the library. I just hope Ravi can help me pass.

When I see Ravi I walk to his table and sit down.

"Hello Ravi"

"Hello aria how are you?" He doesn't even look up from his work. What's up with people and not looking at me today.

"I'm great! What about you?" He finally sets his pen down and gives me a sheepish smile "I'm good I'm sorry I've just been hyper focused on this"

"It's okay that's how you passed and if you didn't pass than you wouldn't be here tutoring me" I say with a smile.

He smiles and oh lord he has a pretty smile.

"Okay enough chit chat let's get started. Tell me what you've been struggling with and we'll start from there" he has his palm out indicating I give him my last exam paper.

I hand it to him and he looks it over and gives a few nods "this isn't so bad I can work with this"

Yay!!! Nothing better than academic validation. Honestly if someone gives me academic validation I'll fall in love with them.

"Okay we'll start with general relativity today" he hands me back my paper and pulls out his laptop.

After a while of typing he asks for my email which I give to him. Why would he need my email?

"I just emailed you some practice question I want you to answer. I will help you with the first 2 questions than I want you to try and do the rest on your own"

I take out my laptop and pull up the link he sent me. He explains it in a very easy understandable way. Yeah this guy would make an amazing professor.

When I'm done with 5 questions my attention starts to wan. I can't give this my full undivided attention and I hate it.

"I can't focus properly" i say to Ravi who hasn't looked up from his own work. I took a peak earlier and saw he was doing mechanics.

Math is so much easier than any science class.

"Is it getting too difficult?"

"No i just can't focus. Should we go get a cup of coffee?" Caffeine should help.

Ravi puts his pen down and looks at me with a hesitant look on his face "do you have a history of addiction?"

Okay?? What does this have to do with coffee?

"No why are you asking?" I ask with furrowed brows.

He still looks a little hesitant than he sighs "i usually take adderall when I can't focus. Do you want one?"

I don't know what that is but if it'll help me focus I'm taking it.

I hold out my hand "yes please"

"Put your hand down dumbass. Meet me in the bathroom and then I'll give it to you" he stands up with his backpack and walks to the bathroom.

I get up and put my stuff away and follow him. There's no way im risking my stuff getting stolen.

When I get to the bathroom he looks the door and says "okay it's very hard to get addicted to adderall but it's not impossible so please for the love of god be cautious"

Im starting to realize this is probably a drug of some kind but my scholarship is more important to me so I don't really care.

If I don't graduate with an engineering degree and get a job at a good firm than I'll most likely be homeless. My foster parents kicked me out the second i turned 18 and Mina's family let me stay with them till I went to university. I refuse to burden mina or her family so I need to get this.

"I'll be cautious now give it to me please"

He goes into his backpack and pulls out a little plastic baggy that has 10 or so pills and hands it to me.

"Just use it whenever you need to focus and if you're caught with it I didn't give it to you"

I'd rather die than snitch on him for something I asked for.

"I won't but quick question is this anything like cocaine or meth?" I say while staring at the pills.

"It's nothing like that it's only going to help you focus. Okay I'm going to go back to the table. Take one then come back." With that he walks out.

I take one white pill out and put it in my mouth and drink water out of my bottle. I feel nothing but I trust Ravi so it should work.

I leave the bathroom and walk to our table and pull out my work.

"How do you feel?" Ravi asks with a worried look.

"I don't feel anything yet"

He nods and tells me to do my work. I pull out my laptop and start.

"Hey the library is closing did you finish all the questions?"

What?

The library is closing? I look at my phone and see it's been 4 hours. I have been sitting here for 4 hours. Woah.

I look at him confused on how fast time went by "I'm sorry what? How didn't I notice it's been 4 hours?"

"Oh that's just the adderall working. I told you it makes you focus" wow I think i fell in love with a little white pill.

"Yes i finished with questions can you look them over?" He nods and takes my laptop.

With this pill I don't think my scholarship will ever be in danger. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder.

"Yeah you got them all correct good job" he says while patting my head. 

"Why did you just pat my head like a dog" i say with a laugh.

"Because you're my star pupil" he winks.

"I'm your only pupil"

He rolls his eyes and hands me back my laptop. Wait omg he said I got everything right.

"Ravi I think we should get married" the only reason i did so well is because of his teaching.

He says with a smirk "I'd marry you in a heartbeat if you were good at psychics"

I'm still gawking at my results for the practice questions. "With these results I'm a certified physics genius"

"okay then when's the wedding?" He banters.

"At the diner down the street. Let's go eat food I'm starving" I can't believe I completely forgot about food.

"I wish. I have to go home so I'll see you next week. you're very smart so I want you to look back at your exam and see what you did wrong and try to fix your mistakes" he stands up and puts his bag over his shoulder.

"Okay have a nice night. I'll look back at the problems and see if they're understandable." I start packing my bag so I can go and eat food.

"Okay take my number and text me if anything is too hard and I'll call to explain" he has a point.

I pull out my phone and hand it to him. After typing he hands it back to me and see he saved himself as

I burst out laughing. "Okay babe but just remember you ditched our wedding but since your so sexy I'll forgive it" i say with a grin.

He just lets out a low laugh "you're something else aria. Anyways I gotta go so bye"

"Okay byeee" i say with a wave.

I make my way out of the library and start walking home.

When I walk into my apartment I see mina and Isaac making out on the couch. Ugh people in love are the worst. 

I don't interrupt them I just walk into my room.
