A few have said who are you
For you are unrecognizable
The few say they wish
I were the me I abandoned
They wished to rewind me
As if I were a DVD.
To the girl I used to be
I could not and do not desire
To return to the me I once was
Yet they refused to allow me
To be the new soul I've become.
