Many years had life continued
As she laid dormant
Forgotten by time and daylight
Until they dared encroach
Within her resting place.
Discovering the great beautyIn peaceful unconsciousness
Eyes exploring her sanctuary
Catching sight of a message
Scrolled across the wall in red.
Men should not dare to enterThe sanctuary of lost girls
Still they paid no heed
Desiring their enjoyment
At the expense of the hidden.
They continued onward
Yet it wasn't until
The beast arose
Their face beset in ire
Did it occour to them
What a grave mistake
They had callously made.
