HyunSoo knocked on his door and waited patiently for him to open it. When MingGi finally opened the door, his jaw dropped to the ground when he saw the younger male.
"Yah why are dressed like you are going for a meeting?" He laughed so hard, his belly hurt.
"Why? This is how I always dress." He replied and sulked abit.
"Okay before anything, we need to go shopping first." He smiled and dragged him along.
When they arrived at the mall, MingGi dragged him to dozens of stores and picked out more casual looking clothes. Ranging from hoodies to plain t-shirts and jeans.
"Hyung, how does it look?" He asked shyly.
"Ah you finally look like a college student! Not some businessmen." The elder male chuckled and pulled him to the cashier to check out. "We'll take everything including the hoodie and jeans he is wearing."
HyunSoo took out his card and got ready to pay but MingGi stopped him and paid instead.
"Why did you pay for my clothes? It isn't for you though?" He asked, genuinely confused.
"Take it as a birthday gift from me." He smiled cheekily and pulled him back to the car to head to their intended location.
"Come on! Let's go in!" The elder male excitedly exclaimed and dragged him into the theme park.
Despite his reluctance, MingGi persuaded him into going on all the rides and snacking on all the delicious food available. Although he hated to admit it, HyunSoo was having more fun than he expected and seeing the adorable smile plastered on the elder's face just made it all the more worth it. He could never get tired of seeing that smile, ever. But as much as he was happy, his body had other plans for him. Afterall, he had never even been on a rollercoaster before, let alone fifteen different ones.
"HyunSoo-ah, let's go on that one!" MingGi tried to pull him along but he did not budge.
He turned around only to see a pale looking HyunSoo who looked like he was minutes away from projectile vomiting.
"Yah, are you okay?" He sat him down on a bench nearby and got him some water.
"I'm fine. Let's go on that ride you wanted." The younger male replied.
"No, it's okay. I don't want you to push yourself too hard." MingGi replied and sat next to him.
"No, I want you to have fun Hyung. Let's go on that ride."
"Yah, it's your birthday. I can't only be the only one having fun."
"It's fine. Seeing your smile makes every moment worth it." He blurted out without much thought.
Hearing that, his face flushed red and his breathing hinged. Out of embarrassment, he urged the younger male to move on to their last location of the day: Han River. They picked out food at the nearby convenience store but this time, HyunSoo insisted he'd pay. The two boys settled on the grass at one of the most breathtaking areas and gobbled down their ramen after a long day of screaming on the rides.
"Wow, isn't it so pretty here?" MingGi exclaimed.
"Yea. I've never been here before." HyunSoo replied, admiring the scenery before him.
The waters gently rippled and a cool gash of air kissed his face, making him smile and feel something he had never experienced before. Stars boasted their beauty in the night sky and twinkling lights lit up the area. In his entire life, he had never seen such a sight before. His first was with MingGi. And he hoped it would not be the last.
