One Day... A Jegulus Story

Chapter 2

-TWO MONTHS LATER-

Regulus stood, chin up, back straight on platform 9 3/4. His mother Walburga the abusive, evil and prejudice witch stood beside him. Behind Regulus with his hand on his shoulder stood his father, Orion. A cold twisted and arrogant wizard who was also very rich and very powerful.
Show no weakness, show no emotion.
Was all that was going through the young Black's mind, along with, act aloof and where's Sirius? Did Kreacher get him here on time?
Sirius was disowned last year after being sorted into Gryffindor. Ever since, Orion and Walburga refused to be seen with him in public. Even to speak his name would earn you a free pass to the Cruciatus curse.
Soon Regulus' worries were over as the Hogwarts Express arrived and he spotted Sirius and three other boys along with a fiery red-headed girl getting ready to board. Once he was sure his parents had apparated back to the Mansion he walked calmly over to Sirius and smiled at him weakly. "Hello Siri, wasn't sure if you'd made it on time." He said. Sirius jumped, he hadn't heard him come over.
"Oh! Hey! Oh my god!" Sirius said brightly and pulled Regulus into a hug. When he looked back to his brother's friends he noticed that two of them, the red-headed girl and a small blonde mousy boy were giving him confused, judgemental looks. The other two, a tall, scar covered boy who Sirius had his arm around and another boy who was slightly taller than Sirius who had messy jet black hair, tan skin and very round glasses who Regulus thought was overwhelming handsome, were both wearing huge, knowing grins.
Sirius turned back to his friends "Guys, this is my baby bro Reggie!!!" He said ecstatic. The red haired girl and the mousy boys faces relaxed into smiles. "Hello I'm Lily Evans and this is Peter Pettigrew." She said. He shook both their hands and said "Regulus Black. Pleasure to meet you."
He shook the tall, scarred boy's hand "Remus Lupin." He said warmly. Regulus smirked knowingly "Ah, so you're the Remus I've heard so much about. Sirius talks more about you then he talks about his hair! And that's saying something." Sirius gave Regulus a death stare as both him and Remus turned bright red. Regulus turned to the handsome boy with glasses, "and you must be Ja-" he is cut off by a bone crushing hug given by no other than the boy stood in front of him: James Fleamont Potter. "Reggie!!!" Regulus turned a dark shade of scarlet. "I've heard so much about you! You seem amazing! Thank god we've met! Your hair is really nice..."
Regulus was completely flustered. James Potter really was a gorgeous human being. The untamed hair and the circular spectacles. Regulus was falling hard for him but why? How?
"Erm - yeah - I erm - uhhh - I - I like your glasses." Regulus stuttered.
"Thanks." Said James brightly as he let go of Regulus and they boarded the train and found a compartment to sit in. Lily and Peter sat together, so did Sirius and Remus, so Regulus sat in the corner and James plopped down next to him. "Guess what I've got." James said after a while.
"I swear to god, if you've found another muggle firework I'm gonna-" Remus said sternly but James cut him off "No, no look!"
James pulled out a small vile. "Veritaserum." Regulus amd Remus said at the same time. James just laughed and nodded. Sirius caught on to James' plan quickly "You want to play truth or dare, don't you?"
"You know it!" James said enthusiastically. "You guys in?" Variations of yes, sure and ok echoed across the compartment. Even Regulus reluctantly agreed. "Okay Remus," Peter said. James handed Remus the vile and he took a small sip of veritaserum. "Yes, Peter?" He replied.
"Truth or dare?" Asked Peter.
"Truth." Remus said happily.
"Who do you like?" Peter smirked trying to act innocent. Then the potion kicked in.
"Sirius." Remus said quickly. Sirius flushed bright red. "I love him actually. Have done since I first saw him." Remus suddenly realised what he'd said and clapped a hand to his mouth. "I'm so sorry I-"
"I love you Remmy" Sirius interrupted, hugging Remus tightly. "Awww! I knew it! James owes me 5 galleons and Marlene amd Dorcas owe me 10!" Lily said proudly. Remus and Sirius utterly flabbergasted. "Okay, okay! Someone give me a truth! And I'll give you the money later Lils." Said James smiling. "Okay, James have some veritaserum." Said Remus passing over the vile. He drank some and waited for a truth.
"Are you gay?" Said Sirius. Remus amd Lily looked shocked at how bluntly he'd asked the question but Sirius continued "Cos I swear to god I thought I saw you checking out my brother." Everyone's heads turned to Regulus who had luckily started listening to his walkman so didn't hear the question. Regulus took off his headphones when he noticed everyone looking at him. "Sorry what did you ask James?" He asked Sirius.
"I asked him if he's gay." Sirius said calmly. Regulus' eyes widened and a light blush covered his cheeks "Oh cool." He managed to say. Sirius smirked, there was something up between his brother and his best friend. He knew it. "So..?" Sirius looked at James who replied almost immediately. "I'm pansexual." He said completely unphased. There was a chorus of "thank you for telling us" and "we support you" Regulus nodded at him and smiled a small smile. "Thanks guys." James said grinning, stealing glances once in a while at the younger Black brother.

"Anything from the trolley dears?" The voice of the trolley witch made them stop their game. "6 chocolate frogs and 6 pumpkin pasties please." James said.
"Of course dear." Said the trolley witch. Everyone thanked James and smiled. After he'd handed out all the food, James noticed Regulus had once again started listening to music so James took a chance and turned to Sirius, "Oh and by the way, yeah. I was totally checking out your brother." James stated trying to stop himself from blushing. Sirius just nodded as he'd expected it but all the others were gobsmacked, well except for Regulus who sat staring absent-mindedly out of the window, listening to his walkman, completely unaware of what James had said.
