One Day... A Jegulus Story

Chapter 7

"Erm, yeah. Actually, sorry, what?" Regulus stuttered completely confused for two reasons:
1- how the hell did his two best friends fail to mention that they're together?!
2- What the flaming hell is a Nargle?!
"Nargles." Said the girl, Pandora. "I had to leave my last compartment because it was infested with nargles, the other people in there didn't like me much either though so it's okay."
"Oh," He replied feeling sympathetic despite himself. "So, were they in your compartment too?" Pandora asked him with genuine concern and interest. "Yeah...Nargles." Regulus stifled a laugh as he adjusted to the reality of what he'd just seen. Evan and Barty. Barty and Evan. He's happy for them, he was just shocked.
"Oh well you can stay with me if you like.." She trailed off, developing an expression like she was thinking hard to remember something, "Wait, a small boy, Slyherin, black hair, a year younger than me..." she murmured. Regulus was very confused and was about to question her when she started laughing in absolute delight, "I saw you! I saw you coming, not two days ago!" She said exasperated. "Huh?" Regulus said with genuine confusion. "I, I like divination. I've been told I'm rather good at it. I saw in the tea leaves that I'd meet someone new soon, and then I had a dream of meeting a young, Slytherin boy, but you had no face, in the dream." She tried hard to explain.
Regulus understood.
"Wow. You're really good at that." He said.

"Thanks. Please, stick around if you want. I know we'll be good friends, if that helps."

"You know what Pandora, I think I will stick around." He held out a hand to shake her's "Regulus Black. Good to meet you, good to know you saw me coming." He chuckled.

-30 minutes later-
~ Regulus and Pandora are chatting like they've known eachother forever. They've talked about Quidditch, (Regulus being a good seeker and Pandora just rooting for her house team, Ravenclaw), their favourite lessons, and all the worst and best teachers~

"No no, I'm telling you Regulus, Slughorn is really...weird...like, having a club with all his 'favourite students' and I've seen the pictures of the students he has framed! Like what the heck!? That's creepy!" Pandora explained, laughing.

"Merlin! You're right! That is creepy. Ugh I won't be able to look at him the same! He's my potions Professor and my head of house!" Regulus shuddered causing Pandora to laugh more.
"Hey, Pandora?" Regulus started suddenly remembering the first thing she had said to him. "Yeah?" She replied.
"What the hell is a Nargle?!" He asked bursting into laughter. Pandora laughed to before answering, "Ooh, strange little creatures, nargles are.." She shuddered and looked dazed but then continued to smile unfalteringly at her new friend Regulus Black.

Time passed, and the Hogwarts Express arrived at platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station in London. Both Regulus and Pandora stood and gathered their belongings, he was about to leave the compartment to find Sirius and James when Pandora slipped a piece of paper into his hand, he looked at it, it was an address. "Oh," He said, "Yeah, I'll owl you."
Pandora just chuckled and tapped her head, "Oh, I already know you will."
And with that she was swept away with the bustling crowd of students exiting the train.

A/N- short chapter just about the start of Pandora and Regulus's friendship. It was really short so you'll get another chapter sooner than usual. Byeee
