It was finally sunny. After 3 days of harsh storms it had finally cleared and become sunny. In the back yard of another double story house, this time the house was a light shade of blue, there were a lot of people. A mix between adults and kids and teens. Most of the adults were around the grill, while the kids were running around playing tag. The teens that were there were on the patio, gossiping. All except one lonely teen. He was standing by the fire pit, staring at the flames. He glanced up every now and then too watch people come into the back yard through the gate. He was 6 feet and 2 inches tall, short black hair, and was semi built. He was wearing loose black jeans and a blue muscle shirt. On his upper arm there was a tattoo of two knifes overlapping each other. Down the middle of one blade it had an A inlaced, while the other had an S inlaced. On his lower right arm there was a black fireball traveling from his elbow to his wrist. He was wearing grey converses that were somewhat worn out. His eyes were a mix of blue, green, brown, and grey, while the design on his iris was a swirling star. Today was his birthday, and he had turned 17. He glanced up at the gate and watched as 2 police officers, one male and one female, entered the back yard and scan the yard for someone or something. The officers spotted the boy and what seemed like his parents, due to they were in the middle of a group of adults talking, and spilt up. The male officer went towards the parents, while the female went over to the boy. She stood beside him and watched the flames with him for a few minutes. She finally spoke softly.

"Are you Ace Anderson?" She asked.

"What happened?" He replied. His tone was calm, and he had a voice that could seduce any woman.

"I'm sorry, but last night your friend Sarah died. She was murdered, we don't know by who yet, but the father is still missing and he is a suspect." She said to him, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Again I'm so sorry."

Ace had broken after hearing that first sentence. Tears started to fall down his cheeks. He started to shake badly that he could barely walk. He slowly made his way to the backdoor of his house and went inside closing it behind him. He went upstairs to his room and laid face down on his bed and silently cried. The female officer stood in his doorway for a while then went and sat on the end of his bed. She reached inside of her pocket and pulled out a envelope and sat it next to his head.

"This is all I can give you. I'm not suppose to give you this technically cause it's evidence, but I believe it's something you need to see and read. I'll be downstairs with your parents and my partner if you want to talk." She kindly said.

She slowly got up and walked away. After a few minutes Ace slowly sat up and took the envelope in his hands. His fingers traced the seal before opening it. He took the contents out and laid them on the bed. It was a photo. It was the picture of Sarah's bloody message on the mirror. Ace cried when he read the message she had wrote with her last breaths. Suddenly his mind had snapped, and he knew what he had to do. Not for him, but for Sarah. Ace was gonna get revenge on her killer.
