Kid woke up with a snort on the jade palace floors.

His butt was in the air, and he had the most awful headache.

He also remembered everything.

Hearing the doors open behind him, the Shogun slid his eyes to the right to see his advisor staring down at him with the painted eyes on his mask.

"Kid!" Killer exclaimed, dropping the honorific. Kid didn't mind too much, though, seeing how it was his childhood friend that had said his name with such familiarity.

As his advisor began to fuss about him and haul him to his feet, Kid groaned and clutched at his head.

"Alright, how much did you have to drink last night?" Killer sighed in an almost motherly way.

"Six bottles..." The Shogun muttered, looking down at his feet like a scolded puppy.

"And then what happened?"

"I got up to go get some more..."

"And I assume that the reason why you are on the floor and that you have that giant red mark on your face is because you ran into the door and fell asleep, right?"

Kid didn't answer.

Killer raised an eyebrow behind the mask. "Right?"

The Shogun shook his head. "I don't remember."

Killer's eyebrow dropped and he narrowed his eyes behind the mask. "Kid, you've spent years training yourself to remember everything you do when you get shit faced. What happened?"

Kid shrugged and pouted, looking down at the floor.

The Shogun's advisor lowered his voice to a menacing tone.

"What. The fuck. Happened."

The redhead flinched. Killer only cursed when he got super pissed at him...

"Who are you, my mother?" Kid grumbled. "So I did something. No big deal." With that, he turned and headed back to his chambers, Killer staring after him suspiciously.

The pink haired woman peered around the corner, watching her friend from a distance.

Trafalgar Law was being weird today.

She watched as, for the twenty-third  time that day (she was keeping count), Law yawned as he helped little Chopper with his studies.

The man also hadn't left the medical wing once that day, which was odd. He usually moved around everywhere.

Footsteps caught her attention and Bonney watched as Eustass Kid's advisor, Killer, walk into the room for a few minutes, then walk back out with a small vial.

The masked man walked unknowingly past her hiding spot and Empress Bonney lunged, grabbing the man and dragging him back to hide with her.

Killer watched with wide eyes as the empress shushed him and looked back at the door.

"Bonney-sama, what are you doing?" The masked man hissed as the woman grabbed the vial of hangover remedy from his hand to inspect it, then gave it back.

"Law's acting weird today." She hissed back. "I think something happened last night, but I don't know what, so I'm following him around."

Killer looked down at her in surprise. "What of your attendant?"

"He's tailing someone else." She whispered hurriedly, unsure whether or not to tell the blonde about the mysterious 'Monet' that Law had mentioned the night before.
