Finally I Fly

Finally I Fly

Phil 4:13

(I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me)

I have never been fearless, no

Never been the girl to dive in head first

Kinda sat back and watched life for a while

Afraid of what might go wrong

Well, some may say I am confident, oh

Maybe it's just all a charade

Always stopping short of reaching my goals, 

So afraid to fail, so afraid to fall

But now, suddenly You've given me my wings

I feel myself beginning to soar

Oh and I am still a little frightened but not like before

Cuz' now You lift me way up here on my own

And with Your love I'll never be alone

Oh and I am holding on tight to You

and finally I fly, finally I fly

Moving ahead it's a brand new day

No longer keeping up the charade

So good to give up all of that fear

And find a place where I am free

I opened my eyes and saw I could fly

Never again afraid to try

Dreaming so new, what a beautiful view

Now there's nothing I can't do, it's all because of You

And now, suddenly You've given me my wings

I feel myself beginning to soar

Don't ever give up on your dreams

Though they are lost deep inside you

It's amazing what you can achieve, 

If only you Believe
