I'll Try
Seems like more and more
I cry myself to sleep.
All my past is dark and
It still has its hold on me.
No matter how hard I try
I can see it 'round the bend.
Please God tell me
When will this torment end?
I tried to fit in
but it got me nowhere in the end.
So I'll try it your way instead
Though I can't get my past out my head.
But I'll try.
You never said
You'd make it easy.
You only said
It wouldn't be too much for me.
But I can't figure out
What I'm to do now.
I'll trust that
You'll work it out somehow.
Seems like everytime I look
There's a challenge up ahead.
If I try it my way
I'd prolly end up dead.
So I'll try it your way
What else can I do
You're the one thing I got I got right
So I'll listen to you.
