Samara Gray left town at the age of 10 all alone. Know one knew why she left or where she was going. It was like she disappeared off the face of the earth. Why did she leave?
Because her family was killed. Burned alive along with another family. The Hale family. The Grays were a family of witches, friends with the Hales. One day the two families were having a get together at the Hale House. Samara playing with Cora as her older brother hung out with them as he waited for Derek and Laura to get back and her parents were with Peter and Talia.
After they all ate they were getting ready to leave, her parents looking for her after finding her brother somewhere in the house. But before they could find her the house burst into flames.
The flames started to spread quickly, up the stairs towards the bedrooms, down the basement to where Talia was along with Cora as she was hiding waiting for Samara to find her during their game of hide and seek.
Screams were suddenly heard as Samara was walking through the house trying to find her best friend. Screams of her family and friends.
Her older brother. Her favorite person in the world.
Her mom. Her dad. Two people she loves the most other than her brother.
Talia. Someone who has been kind to her and her family.
Peter. Someone who treated her like family and always played with her when she asked.
And all the other Hales that were at the house.
Along with her own screams. Her screams of pure fear as she tries to get out of the house as she calls out for her family.
Once the 10 year old makes it out of the house she looks around to see the house completely burned. In front of her is a very burned Peter Hale.
Samara runs towards him as quickly as her legs can carry her before she collapses beside him. "...Peter?" she asks him quietly. Samara reaches her hands out and places them on his arm before muttering a spell her brother taught her, one to take away pain. "I'm sorry." she mutters to him before she gets up and runs, as far as she can go.
"If something ever goes wrong and I'm not here anymore, you run. Run as far as you can go and never look back."
Her brothers words ringing in her mind as she runs through the woods. Eventually she makes it out of the woods and looks at the road trying to figure out where to go.
A half hour later the girl found a bike lying in someone's yard. This is where she stole her first item. Grabbing the bike she starts to ride out of town, going as far as she can. Eventually she makes it to a bus stop. Samara waits for the bus to arrive before telling the driver to take her as far as she can go.
Once she stepped on the bus she was never seen in Beacon Hills again.
But what people didn't know was that her family was dead seeing as how burnt the bodies were they couldn't make out who was who, and no one knew that the Grays were over at the Hale House when the fire happened.
Well, no one but one person. The person who ruined Samaras life.
Kate Argent.
And Samara was going to make her pay.
