"Samara! Where are you?!" a voice calls out as he walks through the woods.
"You're gonna have to find me, Mav!" 7 year old Samara yells out.
"Sammy come on! I wanna eat!" her older brother yells out. "Just stop hiding!"
All Maverick gets in response is giggles, before he hears an explosion and a scream, a familiar scream.
Samara.
"Sammy!" he yells out in panic as he runs towards the noise he heard.
"Mav!" she cries out.
"Sammy." he sighs out in relief when he sees her, unharmed. He runs over to her, quickly pulling her into his arms, the 7 year old immediately latching her arms around his neck, and hiding her face in his neck, wanting some comfort. "What happened?" he asks her.
"I don't know. I was just making light with my magic like you showed me and it exploded." she sniffles out.
"It's okay." he says, rubbing circles on her back. "It happens. When you get too excited or scared your magic can go out of control. It happens to me."
"It does?" she asks.
"Yeah, all the time." he smiles at her. "Now, let's go eat." he says making her smile and nod as the 14 year old carries her back to their house.
Samara wakes up with a gasp, a single tear sliding down her cheek. She quicky wipes the tear and looks at the time.
5:56am
Realizing she was going to be waking up soon anyway she gets out of bed and heads to the kitchen. Walking towards her fridge she grabs bread and butter before putting the bread into the toaster. After the bread pops out she puts some butter on it and eats her breakfast.
By the time she's done getting ready it was 6:45am. She walks towards the front door, grabs her backpack and keys and gets in her car. Driving off and towards the school.

Samara walks down the hall, listening to Scott and Stiles' conversation. "No, I know, you think it has something to do with me going out with Allison tomorrow, like I'm gonna lose control and rip her throat out." Scott says.
"No, of course not." Stiles shakes his head before nodding. "Yeah, that's totally it. Hey, come on, it's gonna be fine, all right? Personally, I think you're handling this pretty freakin' amazingly. You know, it's not like there's a lycanthropy for beginners class you can take." he rambles.
