Samara remembers the last time she saw Peter Hale.

She was out of the burning house after Peter carried her to safety outside. She remembers looking down at his burnt body, placing her hands on his chest and muttering a healing spell.

She remembers him telling her to run, in case hunters were still around. And that's what she did.

She ran. And never looked back.

Now she's in the locker room with the man who was like an uncle, feeling guilt for not staying with him or trying to heal him.

She's now in the locker room with both Derek and Peter as they wait for Scott to walk in. A couple of minutes later Scott walks in, and after changing he notices both Derek and Samara. "Thank God! Where the hell have you been? Do you have any idea what's been going on?" he asks them as Peter walks out from behind the lockers with a lacrosse stick in hand.

"I really don't get lacrosse..."

"It was you." Scott says with a gasp as he sees the man who bit him.

"When I was in high school, we played basketball. There's a real sport. Still, I read somewhere that lacrosse comes from Native American tribes, and that they played it to resolve conflict. Do I have that right?" Peter asks him, looking up from the lacrosse stick. "Hmm... I have a little conflict of me own to resolve, Scott... But I need your help to do it."

"I'm not helping you kill people." Scott tells him, his tone firm, basically telling Peter nothing can change his mind.

"Well, I don't want to kill all of them-- just the responsible ones. And that doesn't have to include..." Peter trails off looking at his nephew.

"Allison." Derek says with a sigh.

"You're on his side? Both of you? Are you forgetting the part where he killed your sister?" Scott asks the two.

"It was a mistake..." Derek trails off.

"What?"

"It happens..." Samara shrugs, not looking at the werewolf.

"Scott, I think you're getting the wrong impression of us. We just really want to help you reach your full potential." Peter tells him.

"By killing my friends?" Scott scoffs.

"Sometimes the people closest to you can be the ones holding you back the most." Peter says.

"If they're holding me back from becoming a psychotic nut-job like you, I'm okay with that." Scott says, making Samara stifle a laugh.

"Maybe... you could try and see things from my perspective..." Peter says before sticking his claws in the back of Scotts neck, showing him what happened in the fire, and when he killed his niece.

After Scott collapses the three leave him to be found by Stiles who comes running in a minute later, just missing them.
