Samara sits in class, behind Scott and Stiles, listening to them talking about the Alpha. At this point she's shocked no one else knows due to how loud they talk about it.
"If Derek isn't the Alpha, if he's not the one who bit you, then who did?" Stiles asks.
"I don't know."
"Did the Alpha kill the bus driver?"
"I don't know."
"Does Allison's dad know about the Alpha?"
"I don't know! Jeez." Scott snaps after all the questions.
"Dude, you need to study more." Stiles says getting a glare in return. "That was a joke. Scott, it's one test. You're gonna make it up. Do you want help studying?"
"No. I'm studying with Allison after school today." Scott says.
As the boys continue to talk about Scott maybe getting laid Samara looks out the window, her eyes clouded. She starts to see flashes of Derek running on the roof of a building before he falls, a gunshot hears through her mind. The Gray teen flinches at the sound before her eyes go back to normal.
As she leaves the class and heads to her locker she doesn't know that Derek is at the school, looking for her and Scott. "Hi." she hears next to her. Turning she sees Lydia, who has a smile on her face.
"Hi." Samara says in her unusual monotone voice.
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out some time?" Lydia asks.
"Why would you want to hang out with the towns psycho?" Samara asks.
"I told you, there's something I want to figure out about you. So you wanna hang out?"
"...Give me your number, and maybe I'll text you." Samara finally caves. Lydia smiles and grabs the Gray teens phone, putting her number into it. As the strawberry blonde smiles Samara feels her stomach churn in a way she's not used to.
Maybe you like her.
No, stop it. I don't like her.
After shaking off her internal debate she grabs her phone back from Lydia before closing her locker. "Uh, bye." she says before walking away.
Samara walks outside to see a line of cars waiting. Looking to the front she sees Derek on the ground, with Scott and Stiles next to him. Running over she puts her bag down and grabs his shoulders. "Derek?" she asks making him look at her. "What happened?"
