Kendall got off school and spotted a black SUV pulling up the gate, her initial response was to walk away. Over the course of their adventures, black SUVs had a bad reputation among the girls.

Two men in suits got out the vehicle, blocking her path with their giant mass. Seeing one reaching into his jacket, Kendall made ready to scream and make a scene, then she saw her mother waving from inside the SUV.

"Mom?"

"Supreme Judge Carney is inviting us over for dinner!" Jill yelled so all the parents could hear.

"When was this?"

"They picked me up from the house just now."

"And you just step into a stranger's SUV? Did you even verify?"

"It's fine! Damian sent me a message."

"Since when did you start refer to each other on first name basis?"

Behind her, the man who was reaching into his jacket, now presenting his cell phone to Kendall's face, it played a video message from the Supreme Judge, personally inviting them to their home, and the personnel who will be taking them.

I'm not even dressed! Kendall grunted, looking at her mother dressing like a flower.

The SUV took them to the affluent part of town, pulled into an expensive apartment building, down the underground parking lot, and escorted into a private elevator that took them to the top floor.

They were showed to a guest room, the walls were mounted with pictures and trophies, like an introduction to whom they were seeing. On a table were snacks and beverages, welcoming them like a VIP room backstage.

Not long later a young man entered, a boy in his late teens, dressed in slim black jeans and white shirt, with a grey vest on top.

"You must be Kendall." said the teenager. "I'm Sebastian Carney. You saved my little sister's life. I finally get a chance to say thank you."

Kendall was speechless, drawn by the handsome face. If Ellie bears all her father's features, Sebastian was all his mother, with dark curly hair and green eyes, like a young English poet. It took some time for her to realize she was staring, that the boy was waiting for a response.

"My name is Kendall I'm sixteen years old and I'm from Pittsburgh I like dancing singing and playing Minecraft." Kendall was so nervous she babbled out her audition intro.

"Hi Sebastian. I'm her mother Jill." Jill quickly took over, like she always whenever her daughter gone into a panic attack.

"Ma'am, you have a very brave daughter." the boy smiled. "And one so pretty!"

"Of course! She has been on TV! You can see her in the show DANCE MOMS!"

"Mom!" Kendall gave her mother a tug.

"I saw the chase on the news. Where did you learn to drive like that?" Sebastian turned back to Kendall.

"Over awkward and unusual circumstances..." Kendall fought to keep her words decent.

"I bet you're good on a sports car. Ever driven a Porsche?"

"No I haven't." But I ran over a few people with a Bugatti once... which she chose not to say.

"I hope to see you drive it someday."

"Oh My God! I'll love to smoke a Porsche!" Kendall jumped in excitement, but quickly corrected her manner. "I mean... I'll love the opportunity..."

The dining room was exquisite, every furniture was crafted in wood and gold. The table was long and could hold twelve people, neatly laid with the finest cutlery.
