Blindfolded, Sebastian, Ellie and Kendall were brought to an empty room, their hands were bound behind their backs by duct tape, strips were sealed over their eyes.

Kendall was just as scare as everyone else, series of events didn't fix her anxiety issues. She heard Sebastian grunting, struggling with the kidnappers, and little Ellie sobbing in fear.

"Sebastian?" she called out.

"I'm here."

"Ellie?"

"Kendall! I can't see!" the little girl cried.

"It's okay, Ellie. Everything is going to be all okay." said Kendall, wasn't sure to them or herself.

"I'm scare!"

Suddenly it stuck her that she might be the only person that had similar encounters, that Ellie and her brother was facing life threatening situation for the very first time.

You sound very experience for an event like that! She remembered what their father said about her.

You're not a little girl anymore, Kendall! You're the expert here! You need to keep them calm!

Hearing her conscious speaking, Kendall shut her eyes despite being blindfolded, trying to think how each of her old teammates would handle the matter.

"Listen to my voice, Ellie." Kendall spoke in a calm but cautious tone, talking the way Chloe would talk in a situation like this. "I'm here. Sebastian is here. These people won't hurt us just yet, they're probably calling your mom and dad for ransom right now. They're not going to harm us one bit!"

"Harming the judge's children? Probably not!" a man chuckled. "But you are a subsidiary!"

"What do you want? Why are you doing this?" Sebastian asked.

"You are a bargaining chip for the release of my brother. Your father will meet my demands."

"You must be Samuel, Robert Duffy's brother. My father sentenced him for life two weeks ago."

"You are as smart as your father." the man amused.

"I am. I'm his proudest son! You don't need my sister and my friend. Let them go!"

Kendall listened to Sebastian trading himself for the two of them. It was a brave thing to do, and a tactical one - cutting down number of hostages, reducing the risk of casualties. She admired how smart Sebastian was, and the fact he knew his father's work, she could barely describe what her dad does for a living.

"Not a chance. The more chips I have the better!" the man scoffed. "Now look up and say Hi to your parents, so they'll know you are alive."

Duffy held up his phone and began filming around his hostages, reading off a list of demands in the process. Kendall took a moment to assess the situation. She always hopes for the best outcome, that Detective Kelly would receive her message, and will miraculously find their location and rescue them.

But what would Paige make out of all this?

Paige was always the realist among the team, never shy of giving an honest opinion, despite the unpleasant outcome.

Placing herself in Paige's shoes, Kendall saw herself a subsidiary, expendable to the kidnappers, and most likely be put to example should their demands not met.

Hearing how Sebastian handled the kidnappers, Kendall knew he could keep Ellie safe to an extent. Next she needs to find a way to reach out.

She raced through all the scenarios she encountered, searching for ways to get out of life threatening situations. She found one.

"I can't... I can't breathe! I can't breathe!" she started panting.

"Kendall! What's going on??" Sebastian and Ellie panicked, turning in their blindfolds.

After failing many auditions, Kendall now putting on the performance of her life. She began hyperventilating, so rapid her face was turning red, dropping to her side and began twitching violently, wetting her pants in the process.

"Shit!" the man cursed, ordering his crew to check on the girl.

Kendall put her mind to the most threatening experience ever - the time when Abby yelling at her at the studio, in front of all the cameras, parents and the girls, that choking anxiety put her into a panic attack, so real she started throwing up.

"Jesus Christ!" everyone backed away from her vomit. "She's having a seizure!"

"We need to call an ambulance!" one yelled.

"Are you crazy? Are you not aware what we are doing?"

"She's gonna die!"

"We're gonna kill her anyway."

"I didn't sign up for this!"

"Get her out of here!"

In chaos, two men dragged Kendall's twitching body out of the room, up a flight of stairs and into an open area.

By now Kendall has stopped twitching, showing no signs of life. They checked her vitals, she wasn't breathing.

"Shit! She's dead!"

"No, she still has a pulse, but not for long." another checked.

"What are we gonna do?"

"Bring the car, we'll find some place to hide her body."

As soon as she heard footsteps disappeared into a distance, Kendall quietly exhaled, breathing very gently, undetectable by busy eyes. She kept her ears up, trying to make out the surrounding.

There were hammering and drilling in the air, like a construction site, further away she heard faint rumbling in a steady pace, like a moving train.

Minutes later she heard engine running, a vehicle pulled up nearby, and she being carried into the back of the trunk. The hood slammed over her head and the vehicle began to move.
