The light of the day had long since ebbed and dwindled to nothing, now as midnight marched steadily toward us the air was cooler and damper than it had been. In the sweet rain-washed darkness the sounds of the night became loud in our ears, and even the rustling of the leaves and the whisper of the wind was thunderous.

Jennie flopped her body onto her thick, grey comforter while dragging her eyes up towards the dark ceiling of her penthouse. Nowadays, her place often left her feeling lonely, unless she had women of every type swooning and falling for her, dragging them up to her bedroom to have a "fun night," only to have her kicking them out the moment she woke up.

A certain New Zealander often visited her to cook dinner due to the fact that Jennie only ate at restaurants or anywhere else that would cook her food. You'd think that being the step-daughter of a famous chef would've aided her in her favor, but she knows zip about cooking other than ramen. And the more Lisa came over her place, the more she flirted, or at least tried. Lisa isn't one to give in so easily, especially around Jennie. She's found her annoying usually, but she's grown to get used to her personality and the way she lives.

The two have been quite close now ever since Jennie had started coming to her bar on a weekly basis, where she finds her little targets. She finds that the only job her targets had was to satisfy her. Whether, it would be pleasure or lust, they were nothing but her playthings. And although she leads many girls on, she won't do anything against their will. She also doesn't get attached to them whatsoever and she doesn't plan to.

She learned to be alone, because not everyone will stay.

But she there was one girl she couldn't keep her mind off of. It was that girl from that party. Jennie heard from Lisa that she was started her second year here at the university. It had been strange for Jennie to be thinking about a girl she met two days ago. And she wasn't just any girl -she turned Jennie down and left her hanging. As it happened she felt uncomfortable with the lacking feeling of accomplishment, as if writing an essay but having no idea how to start.

But Jennie just shook her head and didn't think too much of that girl.Jisoo, she remembered. She didn't want to get attached, but she was currently Jennie's target.

Laying in the darkness of her bedroom, Jennie closed her eyes, hoping to get enough sleep for the first day of school tomorrow, even if she spent all night at Lisa's club checking girls out.Jennie smiled and let her eyes close again and as her consciousness ebbed, her mind went into free fall, swirling with the beautiful chaos of a new dream.

Jennie groaned as she held a cup of coffee in her hand and the other places into her plaid coat. She was late for her first class in the morning, but even then, she strolled ever so slowly towards it. She was close though. In fact, she was right in front of Professor Choi Minho's anatomy class. She stared at the dark wooden door, blinking a few times to keep her awake. She held a scowl on her face at the fact that she had to attend class.

Although, she heard someone's feet landing on the tile floor just around the corner ever so quickly, as if they were running. Jennie furrowed her eyebrows as she turned her gaze towards the other side of the corner. Their footsteps were heavy and loud and it gave Jennie a light headache which caused her to groan even more. Whoever is coming up the passageway was either large and heavily armed or a gang leader who considers themselves untouchable.

But she was wrong.

To her surprise, a girl with dark hair dressed in a long, light brown coat, black jeans and white blouse. She was running towards Jennie right across the hall with a worried look on her face, as she clutched her bag full of books to keep it from falling as well as the guitar case on her back which seemed to be slipping quite a bit. And when she reached Jennie, the girl stopped and rested her hands on her knees, panting for air.
