5 - Christmas

I was to head home for Christmas, finally. I was in a compartment with the four Marauders, and Regulus has joined us, he's been joining us lately, and I noticed the relationship between him and Sirius is getting a tad better! I'm glad!

"Will we all be at James' house for Christmas?" I ask. They look at me and blink. "My house is also your house you know?" James mentions, to which realisation hits me. "Holy—I'll get to see mom and dad?!" I ask, too joyous to know the fact that I'll finally see my parents. The boys smile at my joy, and now I couldn't sit still.

We were laughing and opening random conversations, then I remembered. I got up, and tried to reach my truck that was on top, which Remus helped me place. I felt body presence behind me and arms reach for my trunk infront of me, I turn my head slightly and it was Regulus, I feel my cheeks heat up as he puts it down. "Could've just asked one of us." He states as he sits back down next to Remus and Sirius.

I open my trunk and hand each one of them a small box.

"In these are green crystal necklaces, well-you're supposed to open them by Christmas but you won't understand they're purpose, they're all the same shade, but mine is darker, they will go clear when one of us is in danger. It's protections for all of us, the one who's in danger stays its color."

"You're amazing."

"I love it."

"Awww"

They said over each other, it was adorable and we all laugh.

"Woah, that's what the station looks like?" I look around amazed. The others laugh slightly. "I'll pass by after two days yeah?" Peter tells my brother as they all hug each other goodbye. "I'll have to go too." Regulus spoke up, sadness audible in his voice, Sirius looks at him and sighs. "You know you don't have to go, right?" He mentions as his younger brother shakes his head.

"I have to—she's over there."

"I'll come! I'll greet her." I smile. They look at me, horried looks. "No." James, Sirius and Regulus all stated firmly in sync. "Regulus!" His mother called. I grab him and drag him there.

"Hello Mrs Black! I'm Nyx, Regulus' friend!" I state cheerfully as I extend my hand for her to shake. She looks at me, top to bottom, a disgusting look on her face. "Nyx.." She repeats my name quietly and slightly smirks then turns it to a smile. "It's wonderful to meet you sweetie." She shakes my hand. "Are you staying with us for Christmas?" She asks. "No..I haven't seen my parents in a while! So I'm going home!" I say with excitement.

She nods at me then takes a hold of both my hands, looks at me in the eye and starts speaking. "Why don't you come have lunch with us the day after Christmas, hm? I'm sure Regulus would be ecstatic." I nod at her and smile, I wave and say goodbye then leave.

When I return to the boys, James, Remus, and Sirius had their mouths wide open, in shock. I look at them confused, but they don't speak of it at the moment.
