Billy didn't answer Steve's question, instead he stayed sat at the edge of Steve's bed with his head in his hands. Steve stood in the corner of his room not knowing what to do, so instead he went downstairs to give Billy some space.

Steve collected some food from his kitchen, just a few snacks for Billy to have and then made his way up to his bedroom as quietly as possible. Billy was still sat on the edge of Steve's bed, his leg shaking as his head hung low. He didn't look up when Steve opened the door and walked in, he didn't look up when Steve changed out of his clothes and into something comfier, he didn't look up when Steve closed his curtains and got into bed, he didn't even look up as he moved up the bed and got himself into the covers.

Steve passed Billy some chocolate he found in the cupboard, and he took it with a little nod and took a small bite. They sat in a comfortable silence while Billy kept eating the chocolate, Steve wanted to wait until Billy wanted to talk, talk about his bruises, or the blood on his face, or even where he had been for the past week, but he waited until Billy himself was ready.

It wasn't long until Billy spoke, the two boys now under the covers but not close, not as close as Steve would like anyways. Billy opened his mouth, words on the tip of his tongue, and then shut it again. It was as if something was stopping him from speaking, an invisible force making his mouth shut.

"You know you can tell me anything Billy" Steve whispered as he turned his body to face the other boy, Billy's shoulders untensed and his mouth opened again, Steve hoped that this time words would actually come out.

"Neil, my dad, he knows"

Steve was confused, "What does he know Billy?" he asked as he moved the tiniest bit closer.

Billy took a deep breath, as if the words about to leave his mouth would be hard to say.

"He knows that..." another deep breath

"He knows something that I didn't want him to know, and he wasn't happy about it" Billy turned to look at Steve, practically begging him with his eyes not to ask anymore questions. Steve nodded. His

Billy stayed in the half sat up half lying down position for a while, until he finally lied fully down in Steve's bed and turned to face the other boy. His expression still hurt, Steve cupped his face and traced the dark blue bruise on his cheek. Billy winched slightly at the feeling but didn't move away from Steve's touch, if anything he moved closer, only slightly as Steve noticed.

Steve turned around and knocking the lamp on his bedside table off, turning the whole room into darkness. He turned back and went back to the position he was in prior to find Billy had moved closer, now facing the other way. Steve lied back down and wrapped his arm around Billy's waist and pulled him close to his chest. Just as Steve was drifting off to sleep, he felt Billy squeeze his arm and fall asleep himself.

Steve woke up early, him and Billy still wrapped together in each other's arms. He pulled himself free as gently as possible to not wake Billy up. Steve needed to make sure his parents where still asleep before he even tried to sneak Billy out. A light snoring sound was coming from his parents bedroom so he assumed the coast was clear.

Steve walked back to his bedroom to find Billy awake and making Steve's bed, he smiled slightly as he seen Steve come back into the room.

"Morning Princess" Billy said with a smile as he tucked the last part of the bedding in, Steve's bed had never looked so perfect, he would invite Billy over more if that's how good he is at making a bed.

"Morning Billy, I think my parents are asleep so it's safe to go" Steve walked round to the other side of the room and opened the curtains, letting in the morning light.

"Getting rid of me like a dirty one-night stand Harrington?" Billy joked as he went to open Steve's door and walk out, Steve followed close behind.

They made it to Steve's front entrance without accidentally bumping into anyone, Steve opened the front door for Billy and was about to say bye when he received a small peck on the lips. It was so fast that he didn't even have time to process what had happened and by the time he had Billy was half way down Steve's drive. He turned around for a final look with a smirk on his face as he left a blushing Harrington on the front door step.
