I have a thick body
That I am made to feel
Embarrassed and ashamed about
I have many curves
That makes me feel
Like i have a target on my back
I have a thick body
That makes me feel
Shoddy
I have a body
That people adore
But it brings attention
That I unlove
And shakes me to
My core
When I am cat-called,
I get a feeling of disgust
And the feeling of distrust
Why should I be
Shameful of a body
I was given?
A body I didn't choose
A body I can't refuse
A body I cannot lose
