CHAPTER 11

「 Your Kisses

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ♡︎♡︎♡︎
HEADACHES WERE BECOMING more frequent for [M.Name]. More often than he'd like, he'd feel a prickling sensation in his nose and blood would begin to drip from it, sometimes he'd have to hide it from his boyfriend and other times he'd just hope that it's not too bad. He rarely cared if something like this happens to him, even if it was becoming too frequent, but since he now had someone in his life that genuinely cared for him and was always worried about him, he tries to at least deal with it before Midorima would even notice.

Unfortunately — and apparently — Midorima had eyes everywhere. This time, it was far too late for him to hide his bleeding nose and major headache, his green haired boyfriend stood in front of the bed he was sitting on in the infirmary. Even from afar he could see how upset he looked, and he couldn't help but let guilt crash over him.

"Why didn't you tell me anything?" Midorima's voice was soft yet stern, rubbing the remaining blood on the other's face with a wet tissue. [M.Name] forcibly suppressed a sigh and looked away, fiddling with the jacket his boyfriend always made him wore to school. "Well? Aren't you going to answer me?" He felt a hand come up to his chin and nudged his head to make him look back at the latter.

It was unalike him to not answer someone, but he didn't know what to say to him. Was he supposed to say that he just didn't want him to get worried when he's already busy with basketball? Was he supposed to say that he'd rather hide it from him than let him fuss over him too much? He knew his words would have an impact on him and he chose to stay silent.

"I'm taking you home." Midorima stood up from his seat, taking [M.Name]'s wrist without letting him get any protests out. As if there were any to begin with. He only kept up with his pace as they walked out of the infirmary with both of their bags on Midorima's shoulder and his hand in his.

"Practice was cancelled so we can go home early." [M.Name] very well knew that that was a lie, he saw a few minutes ago a bunch of second string players walking towards the court and all of them were chatting excitedly as if there was a practice match going on. Yet he chose not to comment on that too.
