I guess it goes like this-
You never really know how it'll go
Who you'll accidentally meet and if they'll be the one who saves you a seat
If they'll be your soulmate or if it's just a date
Will you stay friends or will it be over when school ends
But life goes on and I know you'll be fine, hon
But when in doubt give me a shout
And I'll be there to hold your hair
Or help you find your way on the day
That you feel such defeat that you can't stand on your feet
You slide to the ground without making a sound
But I'll hear you and stay near, don't you fear
I'll always be there for you
Even if you won't be there for me too
That's just how I'm built don't feel any guilt
It's the way I'm wired- even when friendships expired
I always stayed and kept the promises that I'd made
When I was young and naive and didn't think you would leave
But everyone comes and everyone goes
I guess all my friends are now my foes
(Something that infinitely adds to my woes)
And I'll find someone new, someone better than you (I think we all know that's not true)
