Takazaki POV:

*buzz* The doorbell rang as someone was present at the door. Obviously, the visitor was Horikita. I gave the bed's sides a gentle pat as I made my way towards the door, while also making sure the side table was appropriately positioned next to the bed. It wouldn't hurt to take care of such details, so I complied and hurriedly went towards the door. There I saw, Horikita standing calmly. More importantly, she was in her casual wear. How adoreable. Wait, I am letting my thoughts get to me again. I should greet her properly.

"Please come in" I said calmly. I didn't want to see her thinking of me as some weird pervert.

"Don't mind me if I do" She said as she took off her footwear at the entrance. After that, I guided her towards the center of the room and told her to make herself comfortable. I slid the chair towards the side of the bed and sat on it, while Horikita sat on the bed. Hmmm.. wait no, don't think about it! Change the topic, goddammit!

"I am sorry. Where are my manners? Would you like something? Perhaps Tea or Coffee ma'lady?" I spoke in order to camouflage my nervousness.

"...."

Did I do it right?

Why is she staring at me like that? Is it because of how I phrased that last bit?

"Takazaki-kun..."

"Hmmm?"

"Nevermind, It's nothing. Anyway, I would appreciate some coffee, if you don't mind". she spoke casually in a soft tone.

"I see. Then would you like to eat something along with it? How about some cookies or perhaps chocolate. What will it be Miss Horikita?" I said with a smile.

"......"

*stare~~~*

Eh?

"U-Umm Horikita-san, is something the matter?"

"Takazaki-kun, are you making fun of me?" She said while glaring at me. Scary.

"W-Why do you think that's the case?"
I asked nervously.

"You are displaying an oddly formal manner. I had a hunch you were planning something." Ehh? Did I really gave her that impression? I thought that's how you should attend any guests during their visits. I might have been a bit too formal and might have made fun of her subconsciously. Now that I think about it, she does have the aura of a noblewoman of some sort. If that is the case...

"I am sorry, if I made something sound rude to you. It's just... Isn't it a normal etiquette for attending a guest?" I replied.

"Even so, you make me sound like a Nobel or a mistress". She said while looking at me.

"Ahaha...Sorry if I gave you that impression. I have never been a good host for inviting guests at my place, so I guess that's why I might have sounded like that to you." I justified. I couldn't just tell her that I was nervous for attending a female guest, since she had plans for talking to me about a serious matter. Instead, I went for the classic 'lack of experience in the department' excuse.

"Honestly, I really don't care about any of that. Keep in mind, I am just here to talk to you about something important." She replied.

"Ahh yes, I will keep that in mind. So then, what would you like?"

"There's no need. Just the coffee is fine."

"Alright. I'll prepare it in just a moment." I went towards the kettle and heated up some water. While I was doing so, Horikita starting talking...
