a ruthless original who burns everyone and everything around him but wouldn't let a flame touch her.
and an angel who resembles a mirrorball with her many faces and facades.
a perfect match indeed.

. . The glistened tears streamed off the babe's milky skin as her mother clutched onto her. Cold air hit the woman's face before she immediately looked down at the newborn in her arms with concern in her eyes, covering the little girl properly with the blanket that she had hurriedly sought in her old drawer.
Tears came into the woman's own eyes, as a pounding headache emerged in the center of her forehead.
Lorelai paused and sighed tiredly. She had only given birth to Caroline a mere few days ago, her body was still quite weak while her mind was quite numb from the lack of sleep, but she knew she had to hide the child before someone found out about her.
How did she even get in this mess in the first place?
Lorelai walked closer to her destination, as her mind wandered with memories that fogged her already clouded mind with guilt and many strangled disappointments. She herself, had once been a strangled disappointment to her coven - her only family.
The memories of the moments with her friends— all at once, entered her mind. She remembers very vividly how she used to tell them how she'd much rather be a powerful dark witch who would travel the world in search for fun and chaos, and learn new things, and explore instead of settle down and become a breeding mare to some idiot husband, and yet here she was.
Oh, the settling down part wasn't true. Especially not the husband part. He was a narcissistic werewolf piece of—let's not project more of the woman's thoughts. We're getting off topic. Like I said; the being a mother part of the whole thing ironically was.
She is a mother now. Not for too long; but she still was one. Even if she gave up her child, it wouldn't change that fact. Being a parent herself had once been so strange to merely think about when she was younger. She never thought of the possibility that she herself might become a mother—the idea had her baffled.
Lorelei Evans. A mother. She was irresponsible, immature, and anyone could see that she was unfit to be one.
But that doesn't change the fact that she was one. Lorelai recalled the night at the hospital, it was a tiring day but all her dread had vanished, the second the babe was placed in her arms. She had felt a slightly serene feeling rush though her body, as she stared down at caroline, who had the most magnifying eyes that had reminded her of the the vast seas in fairytales.
Lorelai fell in love with her daughter's eyes. They carried something so beautiful that she wanted to treasure with all her strength. But she couldn't. The woman felt her heart clench and her mood sadden, as she was met with the building that towered in front of her. The blonde ignored the dry tears on her flushed cheeks, while her gaze shifted back to the newborn who was still calmly sleeping in her arms.
She had feared not being a great mother, and this was for the best, Caroline would find a family that could treasure her the way Lorelai couldn't. She couldn't be a good mother, but Caroline still deserved one.
She couldn't even bring herself to tell him of the pregnancy. Not after what he had just went through.
Let's solely say that he was a fling, because he truly was. She was drunk and very hurt, and she liked to think that she was not in her right mind. Their night was only meant as a small distraction to the both of them, but one thing had lead to another, and now here she was, stranded outside an adoption centre with a baby laying in her frail arms.
She pulled herself away from her sad second thoughts and looked down at the newborn one last time, as she grasped the sight of her. This time Caroline's eyes were opened and she was awake, staring up at Lorelei with her wide innocent blue eyes, that matched Elias'. The woman fought the urge to run away with the baby as she entered the adoption centre with a melancholy frown marring her features, as a new set of tears started forming in her eyes. Ones she hadn't let fall.
...
Coincidentally, Liz Forbes found herself in that same adoption center only a week later, searching for a child to call her own. They didn't have any adoption centres in mystic falls and so she did have to drive out of her way, but that was the least of her worries.
Elizabeth paused as she remembered why she was here.
She had not been able to have kids because of an accident at work, where she had gotten stabbed in her stomach and had lost her fertility. But she still longed for a child to raise as her own, and to be a mother. As she thanked the worker—she turned and her eyes trailed over to the line of cribs, a particular infant caught her eye, clearing her thoughts instantly.
The infant looked up at the woman with her doll-like blue eyes, confirming her thoughts.

( spelling mistakes, if I did something wrong or if something isn't right, blah, blah. etc. I was in a rush when I fixed this.)
𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 ⤷ for anyone wondering, her dad is called Elias. He is not really important in the plot rn but it's kinda good not to forget his name. He is a werewolf and that's all I can say rn since I haven't determined this part yet, while her mom is a siphoner from a coven of cursed witches in New Orleans called lore, since they were the first few coven witches and their bloodline stretched back to centuries past.
And ik its not canon at all but this is fanfiction guys so it's just really not that deep and idc.. I was desperate to try and make this chapter detailed and make it much longer but let's be fr no one cares abt this part and neither do I tbh but it's important still 😭
