Klaus Mikaelson sure was not a man to be ignored.

So when he had called the only person who actually made his day bearable, to tell her the witches issue was resolved and they were all six feet under, and she didn't respond, he knew something was wrong. After he had called her that night and she hadn't answered, his mind wondered that maybe—she may have been tired or asleep.

That was a large possibility considering she normally did get tired but once she didn't reply the next day, he had realised something was surely wrong. He had called her again, and after the second ring someone had picked up.

"..Caroline are you alright-," he started but paused when he heard a nurse's voice. "Sorry sir. the patient is unconscious at the moment, we'll personally tell her you called after she wakes up." She spoke, making his eyes narrow. "Is she alright? What happened," he inquired as the nurse sighed.

"It was a car accident and — wait what?," she uttered to someone else as she released the phone from her grasp after hanging up the call, but he had heard her words with way thanks to his supernatural hearing.  The man's eyes darkened as he clenched his jaw, now all he could do was hope she would be alright. He loathed not being able to do anything.

Tyler was sat alone in the waiting area when Bonnie had entered through the elevator, a concerned frown itching onto her lips, but the concern had switched to pure bitterness as she arched her brows once her eyes laid on Tyler.  She walked up to the man, refrained from chocking him with her own coarse hands which were clenched.

"is Caroline ok? What happened? Fucking talk," She seethed as Tyler sighed, It was no secret that bonnie was in a putrid mood, and at that moment, the last thing he wanted was to worsen the Bennett's mood.

"She's.. the surgery went well— so we are only waiting." he spoke sympathetically, making the witch pause. "She's weak, they don't know if she's going to make it," he continued as the bitter look on her face vanished.

Bonnie stiffened, her brows furrowing, as tears formed in the corners of her eyes. She let out a sigh to try and contain her emotions, and her bitter gleaming eyes met his. "What happened?," she inquired, more demandingly.

"Look, I was driving and I heard this noise. It was really loud, and it gave me this migraine and before I knew it, we hit something." He spoke, forgetting to mention that everyone in that car had been affected—except Matt who was the only human in the vehicle.

"A noise?," Bonnie uttered, furrowing her brows in confusion. She had learned through Damon that mayor Lockwood had been affected by the device but not by the vervain which let on that he was supernatural, but Tyler also being affected meant that it likely was a gene related issue.
