Beep! Beep! Beep!
"Ughhhhhhh........."
Ladies and gentleman welcome to my morning ritual. This involves me groaning and yelling at my alarm to shut up and the sun to go back down so I can continue my sleep.
"Honey! Time to get up!" My mom screamed from downstairs.
"Ughhhhhhhh!!!!!!!" I groaned even louder and rolled over and fell on the floor.
"Crap! Seriously?! As if I didn't hate morning enough already."
After about twenty minutes of me groaning in my bed and then another to get up off the floor I realized I only had a half an hour left to get ready for school.
"Double crap!!" I moaned.
I hurried up and got into the shower. I washed my hair and shaved my legs very quickly which resulted in me cutting both of my legs about a thousand times ,but hey I liked my legs smooth and with Lucas showing potential interest you could never be to careful.
I hurried up and brushed my teeth and picked an outfit. I was aiming for cute but not to cute. I opted for my snug jeans, purple sparkly tank with my leather jacket as it seemed to be a bit chilly outside, and my black ballet flats. I decided to just blow dry my hair and leave it down. If I did this it would look like I spent a hour on my hair when in reality it was only ten minutes. That's why my hair was my favorite physical aspect.
I grabbed a donut and my car keys and ran out the door.
''Love you mom!!"
"Love you too dear! Have fun at school!"
I started my car and headed to school.
I pulled into the parking space an looked toward the quad and saw Lizzie waiting for me as always.
I grabbed my book bag and headed towards her.
"Cutting it close sista." she said when I got close enough to hear her.
"I know but it wouldn't be a school day if I didn't have an argument with my alarm for a half hour." I replied sarcastically.
"Ain't that the truth! Haha so are you ready to brave the day and try to be more sophisticated women?" She asked wryly.
"Eh why not? Its not like I have anything better planned for today."
"Are you sure about that?"
A deep voice said behind me.
I froze. Yep I could be very sarcastic with my best friend but when it comes to boys it's like I'm a mouse in a room full of cats.
I turned around and faced Lucas.
"Yeah I think I'm pretty sure about my plans today. " I replied deciding to be brutally honest.
"We'll see about that. See ya
Bella." He winked at me and walked inside the school.
I turned around and faced my best friend. My face flaming.
"Am I missing something here or are you and the new hottie on a first name basis. Actually not only are you on a first name basis you two are flirting with each other. Now please put me out of my misery and tell me what I have missed because otherwise I am going to go insane and....."
"Lizzie! Calm down okay? Yes we are on a first name basis but we aren't flirting with each other at least I'm not. Anyways we only met yesterday and pretty much the only thing going on is he sent me a friends request on Facebook last night and I accepted. Other than that nothing is going on. "
Lizzie was looking at me with a funny face then she said, " Be careful Belles. I don't know what's going in between you but I am here for you. You may think nothing is going on but from what I just saw there is definitely something going on."
I was quiet as we headed towards the school. I was being totally honest with Lizzie. I don't know what was going on between me and Lucas but I was determined to find out.
