Ring. Ring. Ring.
I looked to see who was calling. It was Lucas. Even though it had been about a week since he had kissed me I still got butterflies everytime he called or looked at me. I inhale shakily and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Hey sweetheart you busy?" Lucas asks his voice deep and rumble.
"No I'm not busy. Why?"
"Good be outside in five minutes." He says then hangs up.
Well.
I go upstairs and throw some clothes on then run to the bathroom and brush my hair and put some lipgloss on. Just as I'm finished I hear Lucas pull into my driveway. I run down the stairs and head towards his car.
"Hey do you mind telling me where we are going and why you gave me five minutes to get ready?" I asked.
"No I can't tell you where we are going and I told you to get ready so fast for two reasons. One because the thing we are going to starts soon. Two because I just now thought about it. Now buckle up." He says with a smirk.
Ten minutes later we pull into the park.
"Why are we at the park?"
"Because we are running earlier than I thought we were so I want to take a romantic walk with my girlfriend." He says as we get out and he grabs my hand.
Chills run down my spine when he says that. Girlfriend.
After a couple minutes Lucas tugs on my hand and gently pushes me into a tree. His lips softly touch mine. This kiss is different from all the others. Usually we were time pressed or just so needy that we were intense. He presses his lips to mine again still soft but a little harder than last time.
"I missed you Bella." His eyes staring deep into mine.
Before I could reply he starts kissing me again. All softness has disappeared from this kiss. His hands were on my hips and my hands are tangled in his hair. We stay like that for a few minutes and then Lucas separates us.
"Come on. We need to get to where I'm taking you."
He grabs my hand again and continues down the path.
"Wait I thought we were going somewhere and we just stopped at the park to kill time." I say.
"Patience my Bella."
We continue walking down the path for another five minutes or so and then we come out into this beautiful field.
There are daisies and sunshine everywhere you look. In the middle of the field is a blanket with a picnic basket.
"Lucas." I say breathless. It's so beautiful I don't know what to say or do so I turn around and kiss him as hard as I can. At first he's surprised but then he gets his bearings back and kisses me back.
In this moment is when I realize that I am beginning to fall in love with him. I may already be in love with him. I just hope that when he finds out about my past that he will return those same feelings.A/N
Hey guys I know it was longer than I said it was going to be but there are many reasons why. First I have had a wonderful two weeks and I know that at least three of my readers know what I am talking about. And second I got grounded so that's why I didn't update. But anyways I will do my best to update next week but no promises.
XOXO Jackie ;)
